Staff were helpful when suggesting things to do and advising of onward journey. Just a couple of things though, we had a private room and the lock did not work there was also no locker, the staff knew about this. We had to push a cupboard in front of the door for the night to keep it shut. Also room was very basic and cold because all heaters were in the dorms. Other than this there were no real major problems

James Ifeanyichukwu Nwobodo (Jim Nwobodo) (born May 9, 1940) is a Nigerian businessman and politician who was governor of Anambra State (1979–1983) during the Nigerian Second Republic and was Senator for Enugu East in Enugu State (1999–2003). In 2003, he ran unsuccessfully in the Nigerian Presidential elections. In other words, I've been travelling for about a year, and this is EASILY the best hostel I've stayed at. Book, Book Now!

Very nice hostel, with a beautiful view on the lake from the balcony, personal very nice, kitchen very well equiped, and the inclued breakfast good :) Good choice of hostel!

'This is a great hostel with an incredible view from the balcony. The beds were so comfy we missed most of the next day sleeping! Good location with signs from the central bus stop (the main station is really far out of town for some reason we have yet to figure out). The host was funny, friendly and even gave us a lift to the main bus station. Would highly recommend a stay here.'

Nice place

First of all I ended up staying here for 30 days! The main reason would have to be the staff, they really make you feel at home. The other reason is Ohrid is the perfect place to relax and unwind and has stunning scenery to go with it. The hostel is located perfectly in the old town a few minutes from the shops, pubs, lake, tourist attractions. The beds are really comfortable and it has two balcony's a lounge, and outside area with hammocks. I will be back!

Really enjoyed staying at this hostel, would definitely recommend it!

BEST HOSTEL EXPERIENCE WE'VE EVER HAD. We were totally spoilt, fresh pastries for breakfast, loving attention from our host, anything we wanted he found a way of getting it for us! We didn't want to leave, it was like home. There is a beautiful view of the lake from the balcony, heaps of common areas and the beds in the dorms are huge and comfy. REALLY cheap price! If you stay here I highly recommend hiring bikes and riding along the lake past Struga! Thanks so much Sunny Lake Hostel!

They did not so much hot water and the location was hard to find because they do not have a sign at the last corner. Other than that, good place to stay.
