We had a very comfortable stay at Sunpath Mongolia. The staff really went out of their way to help us with train bookings and organized a great tour. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay at Sunpath hostel. They picked us up at the train station, were very helful and friendly. We booked a tour and they helped us to find other people who can join to decrese the prize. The tour (a homestay in a normadic family in a ger) was very good and definitively worth the money. The hostel is small but cozy and we can really recommend booking this hostel.

Hostel was absolutely fantastic. Although I had to leave Mongolia after 1 night, the stay was brilliant. Prior to my unexpected departure, the staff picked us up from the train, took us back to the hostel, organised a tour (which I missed out on but have subsequently heard it was amazing), dropped me at the airport at 430am the next day, provided breakfast, gave us good tips where to go and see in Ulaanbaatar, concert to go to etc.... I will be back here when I get to return to Mongolia

Absolutely king value for money. Definitely the top choice in Ulaan Baatar for a backpacker. Central, clean, comfortable, homey and with an owner who practically takes care of you (and whatever needs you may have in UB) like a mother. They also run very reasonably priced, commendable tours (again, very flexible to your needs) to just about everywhere in the country and are not afraid to offer advice to independent travellers too. Highly, highly recommended, and for a good reason

From the moment I arrived at Sunpath, I felt instantly at home. The hostel owner kindly collected me from the train station before welcoming me to the hostel with a hot tea and breakfast. She is lovely and extremely friendly - we spent many hours talking about life in Mongolia and what there was to see. The rooms are very comfortable and spotlessly clean and there is a kitchen and lounge area to relax in. They also organised a brilliant tour of the countryside, staying with a nomadic family.

Everyone was incredibly friendly and it felt more like a home than a hostel- great for meeting other travellers as its all very communal-- also ability to book nomadic stay trips is very easy, just try to get higher numbers to keep prices down significantly

Stopped by in Mongolia on the way to China and Sunpath was the perfect place to stay and find a tour. Was picked up from station at 6am which was a really nice surprise and was immediately welcomed with a shower and breakfast, definitely needed after two nights on a train. Tour was well organised, although a little expensive for me as there was only one other person to share costs with. Really enjoyed it though and will certainly return to Mongolia to see more and will definitely stay at sunpath

This a lovely little family run hostel and it's very cheap and in a good location about 20mins walk from the centre. It was so helpful to be collected from the train station at 6am in the morning. We took a tour out to the countryside and stayed in a Ger, arranged by the family. The tour is a must do and was helpful to have a guide and driver. Breakfast of toast and tea/coffee is included which is great. They have been extremely flexible with us Coming and going and storing our big luggage.

After a long journey from Russia I was dreading the inevitable negotiations with taxis in the wee small hours of the morning. I get of the train and there is a man with a board with a name on it, it's my name. I couldn't believe it. We had never said anything to them about it but they had gone out there way to get our train time and come to pick us up. We arrived and our beds were made and we were ushered straight in, "worry about payment later, sleep now". Lovely place, owner is amazing.

The first date I received a new towel. However the next date the manager he gave me the same towel that I used dirty towel. Next morning he gabe me breakfast, however, the cup for tea was the cup previously used by other people. This cup was not cleaned at all. extreme hiegene problem. The butter and jam that he provided was left over and almost garbage like foods. I stay only 3 days instead of reserved 7 days.

This hostel was an excellent place to stay in UB. We ended up staying longer than intended . The staff was lovely and helpfull. She organised a tour for us to a nomadic family and helped us to buy tickets to bus and trains. She also gave good tips of other cities to visit. We spent the mongolian new year with her and her family. Really an experience. We felt welcome and safe in this hostel. Thank you so much.

The family that run this hostel are lovely,it's very cheap and in a good location. It did feel a bit more like a home stay though than a hostel, as someone from the family slept in the lounge or an empty dorm every night which felt a little awkward. We took a tour out to the countryside and stayed in a Ger, arranged by the family. This is a must do,it was the best part of our trip so far. Breakfast of toast and tea/coffee is included which is great considering a lot of hostels don't provide this

We really enjoyed our stay at the sunpath Mongolia. The stuff was just great and gave insight about Mongolian culture and even booked our train tickets back to Russia. It was very clean, the kitchen fully equipped and ready to be used. I really recommend this hostel.
