Sunrise Hostel was not very welcoming or clean. Of 2 upstairs bathrooms, one was missing a light, the other missing the toilet seat, and only 1of the showers worked (downstairs was a little better). Staff tried to charge me over double--my Spanish is poor and she spoke no English, so it took awhile to straighten out. Maybe an honest mistake but it didn't inspire confidence. Not much communal space. The location is good, but you can probably do better for the same price or a couple dollars more.

The location is the best atribute of the hostel. We picked a double room with private bathroom but the shower haven't had hot water... In addition it's a little bit noisy, everyday a cok starts crying at 6:30 AM!!!
