Had to mark a 1 for security. No lockers in dorm. No locks for door. Back door always open so anyone really can enter the dorm and take what they want. Lucky everyone was trustworthy and nothing was stolen but myself and have others have had stuff robbed before in the past. Location was great by the beach but Corfu town is 20 mins away. Airport pick up is great. Staff cooks a great dinner at night. Place was was very clean. Will stay again but would love the addition of lockers at least.

SUNROCK IS AMAZING!!!! The Best Hostel Ive EVER stayed at! Home cooked meals for dinner made by Madelena, who is always up for a laugh. Everyone eats dinner together which made me feel like part of a huge multi cultural family. All the staff are amazing, so kind and friendly. They were very helpful in showing me where to go and what to do on this beautiful island. Great location and value for money was awesome, with breakfast and dinner included. I only booked for 1 night and stayed a week!

Despite being in a beautiful location next to the beach, much of what was advertised was not provided. Airport transfers were not provided and we had to pay for a taxi, the management were rude, hostile and tempermental and actually yelled at us when we suggested there should be better signage around the hostel. There are no credit cards accepted, but this is not written anywhere around the hostel so be prepared to pay everything in cash. Nice, but the staff ruin the experience.

Great hostel, very close to the beach. However, quite hard to get to and from the air port and into town. The owners are very helpful in giving lifts to and from the hostel though. Free breakfast and dinner from their farm was absolutely wonderful! Overall great experience.

This is more of a resort than a hostel, with it being located right on a beach. Dinner and breakfast are included in the price and meals are always very social. Lady that runs the hostel has a great sense of humor, and is an amazing cook.

best location terasse overviewing the bay magdalena is very nice and knows well how to make a good money off you. you will have a free diner and will feel eager to stay in for the evening and night: unfortunately drinks are overpriced: 3,5 for a beer. it is nothing really bad, but remember this place is wonderful to meet other travelers. you can't cook by yourself neither use the kitchen.

Rustic, but lovely. The home-made dinners and breakfast are very good and made with care. It's nice to be in a secluded spot far away from the very touristy areas. The owners are very helpful and kind and the view can't be beat.

The family that run the place are absolutely lovely and the calm but social vibe of the place is perfect. It's a beach where the locals come and there's rocks to climb, great chats to be had with other backpackers on the balcony and jam sessions in the bar in the evening. They don't have secure lockers or safes, which felt fine there but just note it if you're going to be worried about something. It doesn't really feel like the kind of place where anyone's going to steal your stuff anyway :)

I've spent only a night there, but I was overjoyed by the quality of the dinner Magdalena's served - she's a wonderful host! It's pretty tricky to get to the place on your own so try to arrange pick up in advance. I guess they should (just in case) add directions how to get there on your own. Apart from that issue, the common space is beautiful and it's probably a wonderful place to spend two days or three. Will come back.
