Sunrock hostel in Corfu, Greece is the place to stay if you are looking for an authentic and heart warming time from a family that enjoys what they do and are extremely helpful and kind. First off, the food is amazing! Second, I have never met kinder people. There was a strike regarding the ferries while I was staying there (my means of transport home) and they went out of there way to help me find an alternative way back to Italy and even drove me to the port when it came time to leave!

This is the Real Corfu! Authentic living at it`s most honest. The people, the countryside,and the people who care for those who stay make this one of the most intimate and special adventures in my life. Guests will be be treated like family and come away with a true feel of provincial life as only possible in the care of this Hostel. Nothing over the top, just an honest place with loving people who care.

Wintertime is super quiet, location is beautiful but far from everything. The room was freezing, dark, and had very uncomfortable beds with dirty linen. Bathrooms are horrendous, the window didn't close, impossible to use the shower, water was a cold trickle. Meals are included &delicious, but be prepared to feel awkward asking for it to be made. Common room is just the family lounge room. Owners are nice but pushy. Met some really great volunteers there though who made our stay fun anyway. :)
