Enthusiastic hospitality from owner.

The hostel was fine and Leann was very helpful, she gave me a different room than I had reserved,a bigger room. there was a nice view of the Pearl river from the balcony.

If you are looking for a place where you can feel at home, this is the place for you!!!!very close to the metro station and to a park.good atmosphere and Leanne is great!!!the hostel is very clean and the common area is spacious.we were able to use the building's swimming pool and Leanne recommended some amazing restaurants very close to the hostel.definetely recommend it!!!!!

Lovely place close to the slow-train station. Leanne is wonderful. Good if you want a quieter spot with a great view

Very welcoming staff, facilities are good and clean. Note that the hostel is situated in a private apartment on the 23rd floor of a building. People in the hostel are chilled, we had some conversations and played cards but don't expect a party atmosphere. The area where it is situated is ok but a bit far from the main things to see in Guangzhou.

Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. An ensuite bathroom would have been more acceptable for couples.

Nice enough hostel on the 15th or 23th floor (depending on where youre bed is located). This makes the view from the hostel amazing! Staff are helpfull and the indonesian lady speaks english. Facilities include wifi, a kitchen (with not much cutlery or cups) and a laptop. the location is good when using the subway.

Not a backpacker place, you will not find the ambiance, confort and facilities usual in many other places. No restaurant, bar, no places near to eat... and no swimingpool! The woman that runs it is friendly enough the first day, the husband just lays in the couch watching tv all day and doesn´t look friendly at all. A friend who stayed over one month and had to leave unexpectedly didn't get his deposit for not saying the day before.

Thank you for taking time to do the review. On the contrary there are plenty of restaurants and eateries close by. Clubs and bars easily reached by metro or bus. Beach swimming pool only 2~minutes walk. And we DID return your friend's deposit money. Unfortunately we need to charge him for the day's bed as it was not an emergency case for him to check out for the day. If it had been an emergency case, we would be happy to do otherwise.

We stayed 3 nights in a private double-bed room with shared bathroom and toilet. Hostel is an apartment in one of the typical Chinese metropoly compounds with skyscraper buildings, located on 26th floor. View over the city was awsome, especially during evening/night when lights are glooming everywhere. Nearby is a nice small lake, which is also nicely illuminated with lampions and other catchy Chinese stuff, with at least one good outside bar (incl. snacks/skewers offered). Would stay again.

I stayed 2 days in the sunshine hostel. Owners were very friendly and helpful. I felt like staying in relatives house. In future if i visit GZ, i would strongly prefer SUNSHINE.

I love the openness of the host and hostess and the location is pretty good for shopping as well as touring. However, since they broke down rooms into different sections which are not jointed together and it's more like private flat, it didn't provide the phenomenon to talk and meet new people unless we take initiate action to engage in talking. Lien tried her best to provide good hygiene living environment which I appreciated, but I think they can get big improvement. Thank you anyways.

The location is quite good although it needs to walk about ten minutes from the metro. The cleanness and facilities are acceptable in this price level. It is recommended for those who only have limited budget.

Leanne trys to be the best host as she can. The place is more like and apartment with and awsome view from the 29th floor. About 7 minutes walking to the Metro station. If you want to be quiet and relax come here. We stayed here 3 nights. You can do laundry here. The only thing that i did not like me isnthat it was too cold, no heat in the room or in the commun areas. Free wifi. Very good and convenient.
