The hotel overall was nice but unfortunately there was a hotel being built about 20ft away so the noise was horrendous between 7.30am to 5.00pm. They did move us twice with no fuss. location was a bit out of town and if your sense of direction is anything like mine, you'll be getting lost more than once. Nice pool but not any other facilities except a very small spa. breakfast wasn't great but you do get a choice of eggs. Oh, and you get free bikes which is a great bonus
There's currently construction works going on right beside the hotel so it was quite noisy for our stay.

The rooms and pool were nice but the staff was incredibly unfriendly. We really didn't enjoy our time here at all. So many hotels in Vietnam have been so friendly and helpful that it was a shock to encounter such an unpleasant staff. Having a man insist on carrying our backpacks up to our room and then demand a tip was also very tacky. I don't mind giving a tip here and there, but this is a budget hotel for budget travelers and we did not ask for or need assistance!
The staff here seem to try and make a quick buck, when checking out they tried to charge an extra 100,000 to our room and the couple checking out beside us didn't have the deposit they already paid removed from their bill. The reception then tried a long explanation proving it has been removed (it hadn't) the couple sat down with a calculator and proved the staff were wrong, just be carefull. The place itself was good, fairly clean, there's a pool. Best thing for us was the bar over the street.
Our stay at the sunshine hotel was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helped us book our overnight bus to nha trang. The pool and breakfast were both great and bike hire is free which was great for getting to the beach. There's not an amazing atmosphere as it is a proper hotel not a hostel but the facilities make up for that. There is also a shower available to use before overnight buses and trains which made us much more comfortable.
On my 5 week vacation, this was my favorite place to stay. The pool is beautiful, rooms are clean. Loved taking the bikes into town or to the beach. Used the spa and had a great experience. There is currently a lot of construction outside the hotel which is a bit of a drawback. Staff-the lock to my door broke and maintenance repaired it right away.
THIS PLACE ROCKS. Seriously. Reasonably priced food, which they will deliver to your room! Well stocked and affordable minibar, awesome pool, helpful all-night staffers, free bike rentals. It's a little far away from central hoi an, but you're in prime location to make the short bike ride there or to the beaches, and you can grab a much more local experience right around the hostel! We found some awesome vietnamese only restaurants and local football games mere feet from our door.
had 3 very lovely nights at your hostel. room was very clean, big and bright with a nice balcony, bathroom sometimes smelt a bit funny (probably because of the plumbing) but it wasnt a big deal, hotelpool was amazing. bikes for free, location very quiet, 5 minutes by bike into the centre and 10-15 minutes to the closest beach (an bang). breakfast was ok, not great. definitely worth the money!!! would stay there again.
Had a very pleasant stay at a very cheap price,I would stay here again. Except for the door knob which only needed a push from behind to lock,to which I find not so secure, and they could have provided a well-functioning bell on the free bikes, other than that, everything was nice.
The hotel offered free pick up from the bus station which was great. We had a nice big room with balcony. They have buffet breakfast with a really good choice of cold and warm food, tea, coffee, juices, fruits. The hotel is located between city and beach - a little bit far from the city center but they offer bikes for free. The only bad thing to say is that we first had a smoking room and the woman at the reception desk was not very friendly when I asked for another room.
Forse la struttura migliore che abbiamo provato in Vietnam. Camere ampie con balcone, piscina, uso gratuito delle biciclette che compensa la posizione non vicinissima alla città vecchia, ottima colazione a buffet. Decisamente consigliatissimo!
It is a little out of town but the free bikes make up for it. It is easy to bike anyway in Hoi An so it was lovely being able to ride around. The pool was lovely and the staff mostly helpful.
This Hotel is fantastic. The swimming pool is very clean and water condition superb. The food is excellent and far better than other food I ate in Hoi An. The kitchen staff are just the most polite and joyous people I met in Vietnam. All junior staff are gold. The administration staff find Westerners a threat or fools. When they get to know you they loosen up. Senior management I suspect has a tight regime in place. Sunday no shuttle bus down town. Plenty of bikes available.
Nice hotel and great buffet breakfast, but the staff was pretty unfriendly and unhelpful. There was only one nice receptionist girl and the other receptionists all seemed pissed off anytime I asked them a question.
Breakfast lunch, swimming pool and free bicycle rent can't be compared with services from other hotels. However, the smell from airconditioning and bad ventilation in bath room and toilet are unpleasant. Also, the cleaning staffs didn't refill basic supplies e.g. shampoo (we stayed there for 4 nights) and sometimes left the towels on bed not in bath room. Facility and service are good but still there are much improvement for organizing.
excellent hotel for its' price. clean and spacious room. nice to have a pool to cool off. breakfast could have been better.

Very friendly people. Good breakfast. They booked a trip to My Son and the night bus to Da Lat for us. They offered a reasonable price.
Amazing hotel wee bit out of town but free bicycles for trips to the beach or town (10-15 minutes). Great pool, great breakfasts, great staff - thoroughly recommend it.
This was an amazing place to stay. The food was delicious and the room was beautiful. It was such a chilled vibe here and we wish we could have stayed longer. The only criticism would be its location. It was a fair trek to the main streets and Old City.
This was the biggest hotel we stayed in while in Vietnam, and I think there are few places in the world where you get inclusive breakfast, big and clean rooms and a pool for $11 per night...... Amazing value for money, however the only point I would have about this hotel is that in terms of staff kindness they were the poorest of all the lodging establishments while there. They seemed uninterested, fed-up and even tried to raise prices of transport tickets.
