Very friendly and helpful. Not more and not less than I expected.

So far ok, but there are 2 dogs there make the hostel smell bad. Me and my friend can smell it from outside of the entrance, really smelly. And there is a boy who lives next to my room, he is quite rude. Before he started the conversation, he told us he is an army. I think army got no rights to talk to me by using that kind of tone. Others so far so good.

For one bed, the lock is not good, and there is open space above the ceiling and between two rooms. Someone can jump and sneak into other room easily. If the management can close this partition and change the door lock it would be much better.

The walls between the "rooms" should at least go to the ceiling. It felt like I was sharing a bed with the snorer over the partition.

The best place for buget travellers. Small rooms, but full equipment, & they advise U about the walls are short, but enough high(similar as the NYC ones). Little noise street, specially cos the iman calls in the close Mosque. Internet works properly & also the individual conditioning air. If U want more, be ready to pay near doble in the closest 2 stars hotels.

I often travel budget so I am aware of what I should expect for a cheap hostel but this place was far beyond my lowest expectations. When I arrived after a long, exhausting flight, I had to seek an ATM and pay in advance. Room was small, window-less, and really dirty. The sheets had been clearly used by someone else before and not replaced. They stink badly and the mattress was very old and covered with plastic material, what resulted extremely uncomfortable. All in all, this place is a no-no.

Staff was great and the place was clean. The location was perfect. Some other guests didn´t understand the rule to be quiet at night time.

Firstly I came to the place, the smell of the dog was so strong. And I didn\'t get the right room as I\'ve booked. I paid the deposit for a room with twin bed, but I got with bunk bed. It absolutely dissapointed me and the owner seemed didn\'t give any right solution and blame it to hostel.com But the staff (Mr. Tang) was so friendly. The place near to MRT station so it ease us to get the transportation. The privacy is low because you can hear and be heard from the next room.

I stayed there with my boyfriend for 7 days. Very Singapore - terribly clean and safe. Small room though. Bugis Junction nearby was terrific, with delicious food and amazing discounts on clothes. There was a marvelous Mediterranean restaurant within 1 minute\'s walk. They have good chicken BBQ. I guess the waitresses were Philippians cause they look hot. All was wonderful except the first floor is kinda damp and has no window in the room at all. Generally it was an unforgettable experience. Avoid first floo

Decent place, but no real common areas or places to meet up with folks. Also, the WiFi internet won't allow new computers to join (so, basically, it won't work and the owner doesn't know how to fix it). The owner is nice and the rooms are clean though (beds down on the floor).

The staff were so competent and helpful. Mr Tang was so knowledgeable and went out of his way to lead my daughter and I in the night to the bus station to reach our train station at Woodlands. Fantastic service.

Private rooms without proper walls made it hard to sleep when other persons talked. no nice place to sit and eat . only for one person only a micro waveoven to cook in. the free wifi did not work almost at all.

Nice old couple who'm handle the housekeeping. We're suppose to have twin bed room on 3rd floor, but it's was under renovation. We got bunkbeds in a small room on 1st floor. No complaint about the dogs (3 cute ones, but no cats as other reviewers have written), only one barking in the morning (no problem because you'll be up anyway).
