Surf Eat Sleet was great. Everyone staying at the hostel was super friendly and Oliver (the owner) was great, if hard to find sometimes. It was not the cleanest place, but it more than made up for it in personality. It's a few blocks from the beach and downtown, but it's not a hard walk. Overall, it was great and I would definitely stay there again!

While I was there everything was fantastic. The people were great, it is walking distance to the beach and surfing, but also to the city center, which is really nice. I planned to stay a few days but stayed a week instead.

Great that Oliver picks you up at the bus terminal! The facilities are clean and even though there isn't much communal space, it's a cozy place and makes meeting people easy. Close to a great fish market, fruit stands and empanadas del horno. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach down a stairwell, through a park and then down some more stairs. It's a walk. But it's a quiet street off the main strip.
