Got a private room it was brilliant, the private rooms are a good size but it is attached to a big living room and kitchen that is only shared with one other private room. Perfect location aswell and staff were super friendly and helpful, Irish girl and English guy

The room smellt, bathroom wasn't really clean. The beds were quite bad as well. The pool area was nice, but no one was using it. People were not talking to ach other. kitchen was okay. I would'nt stay there again. The staff could have been friendlier! Location was good, close to the beache and 5-10 min to the city.

Inconsiderate staff. Had to wait to for key while they ate within our view and chatted. Not clean. Rubbish in closet and under bed was dusty and had fur balls and hair clips.

Nice breakfast, very good location, more like a hotel (except the bunk beds).

Definitely the best hostel I've stayed in. The staff were all really helpful and would organise day trips for you. They were all really great fun and very friendly. The hostel was in a perfect location right next to te beach and really close to bars and clubs. Would recommend to anyone to stay there, didn't want to leave.

The double room we booked turned out to be in a little unit with its own kitchen and bathroom, which we only had to share with one other double room. This was something we appreciated. In general the staff was great, and very helpful. A free lift to the busstation was easy to arrange, and the traveldesk gave some good advice about activities.

Had a great day/night in Surfers, great crew, nice hostel, really great atmosphere and easy to meet people. Facilities like the tv room and pool + outside bar are great as well.

The double room option was perfect for us. Double rooms come in apartments, shared bathroom and kitchen with two other people. Big room, lots of space.

Good location, not far from the center and just 1 min from the beach. 1 hour free internet per day, tv in you room with film streaming 24/7 free lock at the reception (that is good). The rooms are not luxury rooms,. No air conditionerbut at least there is a fun. Courtesy shuttle bus if you are coming and leaving with the greyhound. I reccomend this hostel because the location is great and the staff is kind. Like in every hostel you have to be lucky with the roommates.

Really enjoyed this place. Booked a two bed with my girlfriend. We were amazed to find we practically had a full apartment to ourselves, with a double room, just around from the hostel. There was a lounge/kitchen area. We chilled out in the lounge/kitchen area and cooked dinner and watched one of the free DVD's. The reception staff were great and did an organised pub crawl. The hostel is a a v.short walk to the main area, and just around the corner from the bus stop to all the theme parks etc.

A little far off from the central area. Just 10 mins walk. However, love the place, the staff, the new people that I met. They have nights out every night so it's great to meet other travellers if you are travelling alone. Highly recommended for solo travellers. Will definitely come & stay if I visit Surfers again..

Staff is very unfriendly. Doesn't know how to smile. I expect them to show me more when I ask them for activities and interesting places around.

The best thing about this place was the staff. As a couple we were upgraded to our own private double for no extra cost. The bar is nice, you can tell its quite a party place but there were still plenty of people chilling out in the evening. When we first arrived it looked a little shabby, with a little tlc could be much nicer! Not the best hostel we have stayed in but not the worst either!

We stayed in a double room, which turned out not to be in the hostel itself but in the block of aparments next door, so we shared a two bedroom apartment/unit with another couple, which was handy as there was a kitchen to share between the two couples, rather than the entire hostel. Staff were friend. Bar was cheap. Went out with the hostel one night, but as we were a couple we seemed to get left behind and didnt really see the rest of the hostel in the club we went into. Would stay again.

This place has excellent customer service, especially an employee named Jim. Surf n Sun will pick you up for the bus terminal, give you a tour of the entire hostel, and plan fun activities. I thought overall that this hostel facilities were pretty average.
