This hostel is a dump. Its not clean, the cleaners and staff are tourist staying there for free if they work a little, an this reflects their dedication and commitment to the job - which is at about a zero. its messy, unorganised and the bathroom has definatly never been cleaned - even though they say that they do cleaning, we watched them clean one day an a girl basically went into our room picked up the rubbish bags and sprayed disinfectant in the air. ? wouldnt reccomend it to anyone sorry.

Everything is OK but the location is little bit far from the center! Staffs are friendly!

Great hostel! Please stay here if you want to have a good, relaxed, friendly, clean hostel. Best hostel I stayed in during my trip in Australia.

We had booked a mixed dorm for three nights and couldn't wait to get out of there. The minute we arrived, we were told that there was no electricity, thus no fan either, in our room. The situation stayed that way for the whole three days, even though we complained. Because the was no fan, the door was kept open all day and all night long, so security was non existent. I mean there is a security locker behind the reception, but you have to lucky to get the attention of the poor staff.

This is most definitely a party hostel. If you want a quieter experience then would avoid the bar area. Rooms were clean and there was plenty of space for luggage. Oddly enough there were only 2 socket points for a 6 bed dorm. Annoying.

Great place to party and meet people. There's something happening every night, everybody leaves for it together. On the downside, wifi is terribly overpriced.

The place would have been perfect if they had 24-hour FREE wifi.

Staff wasn't very friendly, more awkward than anything and not helpful at all. No lockers, but you can use their safe for valuables. One hour of free wifi a day, turned out to be enough though. Whole atmosphere wasn't the best, maybe it was just the people staying there when I was there but I didn't enjoy it. SP is very much like south beach in Miami, keep that in mind. I wouldn't stay at this hostel again.. bathrooms were gross. Try hiring better staff.

Staff were strangely arrogant and overbearing. I found one small male staff member often yelled at guests for enjoyment. There wasn't much to do and the staff were very rude and dismissive. Won't be going back to Surfers.

We stayed there in January which means Summer. They do have "a fan" at the ceiling but it is worth of nothing. Hostel is nice but funnyly enough, it seems that half of the people living there also works at the hostel. The staff is very young and there for quite clueless what they are doing. They don't know how to help and the girls at the desk with their big puppy eyes are just questions marks when you ask something else than what is the best place to party; the staff does know how to party..

This is a great hostel. I would consider staying here again when i am back to Surfers. The staff cleans the rooms everyday. the kitchen is well equipped and clean. the pool area is great, the pool bar has cheap drinks, the staff is very helpful. The location is perfect. the hostel is just across from the beach and only 5 mins walk to the central of Surfers. The bus stop is just across from the hostel, about a minute away which makes it very convenient if you want to get out of surfers.

My friend and I spent two days at Surfers to get some surf lessons. We booked a private room, with shared bathroom, kitchen etc. On arrival at the hostel, we felt welcomed by all the lovely team. The private rooms are located in the building next door. The shared kitchen/sitting room area on the ground floor was much bigger than I expected, and we only shared this with one other room. Our upstairs room was very clean and the bed was comfy. Anything we needed was no trouble. We enjoyed the stay!

This place is AWESOME!!! They have different nights where you can go to different clubs and bars at a discount/free entry, and everyone leaves together, which makes people feel more comfortable I think. Also, the pool and BBQ area was my favorite, so much fun, and I felt like there was always something to do or someone to talk to! Great place if you're traveling alone, but also a great time if you and your friends just want to enjoy a good time at a laid back hostel! Definitely recommend :)

The hostel was okay... the staff and whoever wants goes out to nightclubs every night, so you have the chance to go to the clubs for free and recieve a free drink, which is pretty good. I didn´t like the bathroom, which was attached to the 6-bed drom I stayed in. It was very small and not clean. There was a whole in the ground which was filled with water! The fan in our room was way too loud and as I slept directly under it it wasn´t very comfortable.
