basically a nice place, clean rooms and a 10 minute walk to unawatuna beach. though one thing, that really bothered me were the tuk-tuk drivers that worked for the hostel. you can't simply walk through the lobby without them offering you tours and rides for ridiculous prices. beeing approached by countless tuktuk-drivers that ask for way too much money is something common of course, though doing that within the premises of a hostel is just disrespectful towards the guests.

This hostel is not near a beach like the pictures suggest, you either have to walk down a dangerous busy main road or scramble across 200m of rocks- neither are a great option in the dark after dinner. The hostel staff ok at check in, but we didn't see anyone else after this- when we went to check out we were told just to leave the key with a cleaner. As two female travellers we found our experience at this hostel very uncomfortable, with a group of leery men always waiting and staring outside!
