there's nothing to do in auckland, so i watched a lot of tv with a bunch of people most of the time. hang out in the kitchen if you want to make friends.

The place seemed to be under constant refurbishment with not a lot of refurbishment being done! Where work had been done such as the bathroom, it was left incomplete or botched. The bedrooms were dingy, ratty carpets, curtains which did not fit the windows so you had to get changed with the lights off, holes in walls, strip lighting which made it depressing. All in all not an experience I want to have again.

Good location next to Sky Tower and a block from Queens Street. Travel centre very helpful. Bit noisy, my room was right next to the Bungee Jump and the whoops go on all night, and the main road is noisy too. Very comfortable beds and good showers.

Basic hostel. Very busy, impersonal. Handy location in town centre, but nowhere to park if you hire a vehicle. Useless washing machines and dryers.

good location, right next to the sky tower and just off queens street, so good for shopping and sight seeing. Hot showers and rooms, but kitchen a bit small when lots of people in there.
