The older man was fairly miserable and should be more friendly. The Internet is only on from 730am to 10pm. It should be 24 hours. The "BBQ" for the pub crawl is a hot dog on a piece of bread. They shouldn't advertise it as something it is not. The pool is small but very nice. The free laundry is a nice benefit. A few of the staff party harder than the guests and are incredibly loud throughout the night; this should not be happening as it is completely unprofessional.

Really nice hostel, staff rly friendly and organise activities. Has a great atmosphere and sense of community, encouraging everyone to meet each other. Rooms are very hot but they offer a free pick up service and shuttle bus into the centre

Very clean, staff is super friendly and inclusive, and most people who was staying there were very social. One down side is kitchen needs more cookware and is not open early enough. Fits both partiers and surfers who want to get up early for a morning surf. Daily volleyball game. Cheap happy hour. One of the best hostels in Oz.

Pretty poorly equipped kitchen; bathroom and kitchen were quite dirty; only 1 free washing machine; but great overall hostel, would come again

coming to this hostel we were a bit unsure of how we felt, but we've realised that in Australia you have to keep standards low for expensive prices. The room was clean, however shower knobs needed repair. kitchen is big and clean, good atmosphere as there's stuff always organised. Not a lot of parking. The rooms were hot. don't know how many staff are working there, but it seems a lot, maybe that's what a quarter of the price was? Social area was bad when it rains as is outdoor. Overall was ok

We booked a twin room shared bathroom, and turned out we pretty much had our own apartment! We didn't experience the atmosphere as we just came to do the theme parks. Didn't socialise in the hostel as we didn't go there for the nightlife. The window in the toilet was broken so unable to close which lead o loads of ants but that wasnt bad. They do a bus service to town center as it's about 1.6km away. staff were friendly, would stay again.

Location is great to beach but unfortunately far from the centre of the city .. There should be more shuttle times and the staff willing to bring the people in that would definitely help the location problem. Bathrooms in the rooms can be rough when it's hot so there should be a fan in the bathroom and maybe more in the room because the shower creates more heat.

Really nice hostel with really nice staff. The location is not central, a few minutes walk from the city centre, but it is ok. Pretty nice rooms and very clean.

Cool place, bit far from city centre however they give you a ride for free on their bus. Beach round corner. Good vibes, nice people.

We had a fantastic stay here and I would certainly recommend this hostel to anyone heading to the Gold Coast. The staff and facilities are perfect and they really build a great atmosphere between the guests by having nightly activities such as volleyball and trivia, overall a very cool hostel.

Fun staff created a good atmosphere. We stayed in a private room and you can still easily feel a part of the hostel. Laundry services were free and rooms are cleaned daily. There is free wofi but you need to be downstairs in the main area to actually se it.

Lovely hostel with a great atmosphere. There's always something to do every night. They don't have wifi in the bedrooms but I think this is better as it makes everyone congregate in the main area. The pool and tennis court really make it and they have a bar too!
