Surfers Paradise Backpackers Resort Reviews

I was really happy during my stay in that hostel. Free wifi (unfortunely not in our rooms), nice pool, a Sauna and a free pool table:) The staff was really freindly and actually hang out with us. It's about a 15 minutes walk to the Center of Surfers pradise, but the shuttle deprts every hour for free!!:) I really enjoyed staying there:)

It waz very noizy in night

This hostel is certainly a trek from the city center. I liked the large size of the rooms and the ensuite bathroom. Everything was clean and there was free wifi, which was great. They also had a bar and free laundry. Not a lot of character to the place and I can't comment on the staff because I didn't chat with them much, but I do recommend this hostel if you don't mind the walk / shuttle!

Great rooms, very clean and in good shape. The fridge froze everything we put into it and the toaster and stovetop looked a bit shabby, but I was really happy with everything else. The pool looked nice, even though we didn't get to use it and the laundry facilities actually worked for once, unlike other places I've stayed. Staff were very nice and helpful, checked in and out with no hassle. Would definitely stay here again.

Not much to tell about this hostel. The staffs was okie. The kitchen was a little bit dirty. What I don't like is the location. So far away from the surfer paradise where all the fun is. The bus is expensive. Take 25min to walk to the surfer paradise. I would not come back

Amazing facilities for the price: pool, tennis, basketball, volley ball, tv room. laundry, kitchen, bar, private bathroom. Room is very spacious and has a fan for the hot summers. Staff are very friendly and chill and helped me with eveeything I needed. The hostel is a lot of fun, but the partying is outside the hostel and they turn off the music at 10 o'clock so you can also have a good sleep if you need. They also have a free shuttels to clubs and bars a lot of the nights. Very close to beach

The staff at the reception are friendly and helpful. The overall impression of this hostel is good.

All in all a pretty decent place, but just a bit too far away from everything. To be fair to the guys, they do put on a regular free shuttle service… but that isn't still running at the time you'll need to stumble home after a night out! Nice atmosphere and clean enough. We had a good time staying here.

Excellent location, great atmosphere. There is a funky smell to the place due to the old building but nothing that takes away from all other attributes of the place.

Average place. Great to have all the extra facilities. No lockers in rooms biggest disappointment. 1 girl who closed bar/kitchen very rude.

Staff are very helpful and welcoming, a generally very good atmosphere whilst also getting a good nights sleep. What more can you ask for.

Nice relaxed atmosphere and everyone was helpful and friendly. An enjoyable stay.

class hostel!!

I had a great time at this hostel! I will certainly go back there if I'm ever in Surfer's Paradise again!

I listed location as "average", as there is a shuttle into downtown. Otherwise, it's a 20-min walk. Not too bad, but you need to plan your day accordingly. Staff were very nice.

The atmosphere was great! A lot of hostels, people can keep to themselves. Here, everyone was always chilling out in the courtyard meeting new people. The only thing I'd say could be better would be to have drawers under the beds with the ability to use your own padlock. Although reception had a safe to store valuables and electronics, slothes and other items had to be left unattended in the rooms.

Stayed here one night and I enjoyed my stay. Nice atmosphere and nice people. I do recommend .

I would definitely recommend this place! We only stayed for two nights and didn't really socialised, but the staff was exellent and very helpful. And the free shuttle bus to the city every hour was like the icing on the cake! Thank you so much for a great stay!
