We were actually very suprised with the accommodation we were provided as we didn't expect it to be so good. The prices were good and our rooms were fantastic and clean. The staff members were very friendly and even provided a safe service when we asked if they could mind our bags after we had checked out. I would reccommend this place to anyone. Even though the city centre was a bit of a walk it was beautiful when taken on the beach. Our stay was fantastic and we are very appreciative ;)

It's very clean, they clean everyday. Good to share that they provide free washing and free wifi. Staff are friendly.

Great facilities. Tennis court is peng. Negatives are lack of lockers in rooms and not being able to drink your own alcohol kinda sucks. However hostel was best part of surfers for me!

The location isn't the best as it's out of the main strip, it's a good 20 minute walk away from anything major and seeing as surfer's is about partying, walking home all the time got a bit annoying! The actual hostel was really nice though, very cheap bar and free laundry which was good! But after a couple of nights, i moved down the road to the Islander which is right in the middle of everywhere and was about $5 cheaper and ten times nicer!

15 minutes walk from town but for what you pay, it seems to be the closest you can get. there is a shuttle every hour but only up until 5pm, or another at 7 if requested. kitchen closed at 10pm and didnt open again until around about 7.30 which sucks if your heading off on day trips, also the sign was covered by a vending machione so we didnt actually know until 10pm the night before when our food was locked away. wifi is pretty unreliable.

They don't clean the bathrooms daily! The bathroom was really dirty. My mattress was really soft, so I felt the grid at night. The hostel is slightly away from the city centre so you need to walk a bit. It's not a bad hostel, but I have seen better.

A great hostel.,.. Free wifi and washing, what more could you ask for when you are travelling. The rooms are big, bathrooms are clean. The kitchen is well equipped and met loads of great people here. It is 5 mins from the beach and a15 mins walk to the city... But it helps you to sober up on the walk home! :-). All in all a great hostel! Highly recommended.

I stayed 2 more nights and I gonna go back in 2 weeks! The WIFI is a little bit slow.. But hey its for free so I can take that. Close to the beach and they pick you/drop you off at the Greyhound station. If you gonna go to Surfers I can recomend this place.

This was such a great hostel! Great atmosphere, friendly people, tv room, tennis court, free board hire, you really can't go wrong! Only thing, the pool is a lot smaller than its made out to be... but I guess on nice days you'd go to the beach anyway.

The rooms with the ensuite bathrooms are good, but the mattresses are horrible! The kitchen is clean and the resort provides some good facilities as the pool or the bar. The place is located a bit far away from the city, but the hourly shuttle bus is really good! The court reminded me of a school yard which doesn't create a nice atmosphere. To put it in a nutshell, the hostel is ok, but I would noch want to stay there for longer.

Brilliant Hostel. All other hostels say you can 'chill out or go mad', yet in many you actually can't. Every night there is a group of people going into town, and the set up makes it VERY easy to meet people. Free Wifi is very helpful, the volleyball/tennis court and pool are very fun. Plenty to do, Great Staff. Could not recommend it highly enough, after 7 weeks of travelling this is my favourite hostel from Sydney - Surfers Paradise.

We were generally unpleased by the accommodation provided by this hostel. We found the beds extremely uncomfortable and the staff generally unfriendly. The bar on premesis prohibits personal purchase of alcohol and doesn't allow it on property. The pool is small and doesn't have enough lounge room for guests. The manager was unconcerned with the comfort of guests and only found it important to party with them in the evenings. I wouldn't recommend staying here as it is not worth the money.
