I had an amazing time at surfing turtle, the place is solar powered, and at night the only lights around are from the hostel and the stars. The view is just priceless. If you ever get to go there, make sure to look up and take it all in. The bar and common area had free Wi-Fi. I mainly I hung out drinking beer at the swings by the bar. I had a great time hanging out on the beach away from cars and civilization. Great place.

I stayed at the Surfing Turtle Lodge the 5h of January, and was supposed to stay there until the 8th, but I left after only one night. The reason for this is at this place is not like advertised at all. They do not have any English spoken staff, there is hardly any guests (it was me and another couple), the internet did not work and the most disappointing thing: there was no surf boards there and definitely no people surfing or giving surf lessons. I later learned that this place it for sale..
