Lovely place, very homely, nice atmosphere, amazing views, good facilities and Robyn is so sweet! Things that could be improved would be to have wifi available all day (is available for 4 hours), have bins in the rooms and switch the heating on in the lounge - it was freezing in there!
Nice quirky hostel, loads of space to relax and chill out. Made some good friends here too who we ended up travelling with for the remainder of the great ocean road.
The office, which is the first thing you see, was dirty and cluttered it was almost impossible to walk in to. I could not get in contact with the woman in charge when we first got there to check in either. The room was dingy and musty and looked nothing like the pictures on the website. I felt disgusting staying there. Not the end of the world, but we had to walk outside to a different area to access the bathrooms. It was a free for all and no one was in charge, kids were just partying all night

Interesting place. However I think the owner is the only one who cleans here. he works very hard but maybe a few staff would help the place go from ok to good. Nothing really wrong with it, but it's more of a one night stop off.
This place is so cute! Robyn the owner is so lovely and can't help enough! The rooms were clean and tidy. Wifi was good. Really enjoyed our stay here
Basic backpacker stay, more of a big house converted to a multi room backpacker lodge.

Great place! It's close to town and right by the Great ocean walk/road. There's nothing to complain about, except maybe the speed of the wifi unless you find that good spot where reception is slightly better. It's a chilled out and friendly place with a couple of kitchens/bathrooms in different houses. A pool table and relaxed lounge are. There's a nice garden and comfy hammock.
The place its self feels a little tired but added to its charm. It is not a large YHA type place but a small hostel run by a lovely woman. Intimate place where everyone hung out together and played pool or chatted. The woman who runs this place is fantastic. Went above and beyond with maps and recommendations for additional sights to see along the great ocean road.
This is the first hostel I really loved while travelling. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Met a lot of lovely people, a very social hostel which felt like home. the location was great too - right by the beach. My friend and I agreed that this was the best part of our great ocean road trip and will return if we get the chance to. Not a place to go to if you like sterile, modern, hotelesque rooms.
Just a brief stopover for me and my wife as we drove the Great Ocean Road. For somewhere cheap to get your head down it's ideal and the staff are great. It's a little rustic looking (apart from the bathrooms which are really nicely fitted out) but the vibe is nice and laidback.
Good value for money. Simple room, but clean. Some noise at night. Nice staff.
This is a great location on the Great Ocean Road! There is a feeling of being at grandma's house when you're in this hostel; the decor has a cozy cottage feel and Robyn (the owner?) is a sweetheart who's there to make your stay enjoyable. The kitchens have all of the amenities one could ask for, the common areas have plenty of room to hang out. Definitely a great value and great place.
They couldn't find.the key to my room so another guest and I didn't get a key to the room so the room had to be left unlocked all the time. No lockers, grubby room, grubby toilet. Cheap but not that cheerful.
