Basic backpacker stay, more of a big house converted to a multi room backpacker lodge.

Berry good hostel

Just a brief stopover for me and my wife as we drove the Great Ocean Road. For somewhere cheap to get your head down it's ideal and the staff are great. It's a little rustic looking (apart from the bathrooms which are really nicely fitted out) but the vibe is nice and laidback.

Good value for money. Simple room, but clean. Some noise at night. Nice staff.

This is a great location on the Great Ocean Road! There is a feeling of being at grandma's house when you're in this hostel; the decor has a cozy cottage feel and Robyn (the owner?) is a sweetheart who's there to make your stay enjoyable. The kitchens have all of the amenities one could ask for, the common areas have plenty of room to hang out. Definitely a great value and great place.

They couldn't find.the key to my room so another guest and I didn't get a key to the room so the room had to be left unlocked all the time. No lockers, grubby room, grubby toilet. Cheap but not that cheerful.

The lady running it is lovely, location fantastic. However it's a bit run down, leaking bathrooms. Had a good stay overall.

Everything is worn down and most of the hostel is dirty and old. Only 3 hrs free wifi per night, really bad. The manager is friendly though but they seriously need to invest in new buildings and installations. Sheets were clean though but there is no safety box and the doors are really thin/poor so don't leave any valuables in the room.
