I LOVE IT! Our host Kris is very nice to us. He gave us really useful information about the city and took his time to explain everything a stranger to the city has to know. I really love the newly renovated hostel and its facilities. The homemade breakfast was awesome too :) Makes me feel like home even when I'm travelling :)

More a guesthouse than a B&B, Su'ro is the home of Kris and his two daughters, who own three beatiful rooms with all the facilities you might need : He was very kind and gave us maps and directions on what to see and where to go, the room was beautiful and clean and the breakfast (left outside our room for our convenience) was huge and delicious!

Very great renovation of the original house turns into a stylish and spacious house! The room is clean and tidy! The host is very kind to lend us their bikes! And the breakfast was the best ever i had in any B&B!

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Suro Guesthouse!! Kris, the manager, was so helpful with giving out information on things to do in Gent. He also has bikes that you can use, which I did, with no extra charge. The breakfast was soooo good too! I will most definitely stay here again whenever I'm in Gent or any other Belgian city that's nearby!! The location is a bit far from the city center, but you can get there by bike in about 15 mins or catch the bus to get there in about the same time.

Merci !

My daughter and I stayed in this lovely B&B for 3 nights in December. The owner Kris , works hard to provide an excellent service to his guests, with maps of Ghent, recommending places to eat and advise on transport if needed. Our room was very clean with two comfortable twin beds, TV, Internet, Coffee/Tea Maker with mlik, tea and coffee replenished each morning. Breakfasts were delicious and made with fresh produce. We had a lovely time in Ghent and a relaxing stay in this quality B&B.

a 5 minute bus ride into Brussels which is incredibly easy to catch right outside su'ro. couldn't have been made to feel any more welcome. we were able to arrive earlier than anticipated which made everything easier. breakfast was fantastic and left at our door for a real breakfast in bed. our whole stay was made to feel very personal and kris was really helpful and welcoming

After years of hostels, we tried a B&B option... And it was a perfect choice, even if for one night. For the price of a double room you get a spacious room with shower (+towels, soap and shampoo), flat TV screen, free wi-fi and luxurious breakfast. With the bus you can easily reach the city centre. Kris is a wonderful host and stayed chatting and having breakfast with us. He also gave us two maps, city guides in our language and even a guide to vegetarian restaurants. Highly recommended!

an AMAZING GUESTHOUSE. If they had more than 3 rooms, they could be a 5***** stars hotel. The breakfast was SO good, and the host brought it to our room. Try it, it could not be be better!

Simply perfect! Very good location, easy to find and there's a bus stop just around the corner. Kris is doing his best to make his visitors feel at home. High level of security, large and clean room, comfortable bed and tasty breakfast served in the garden. Highly recommended! If we ever come back to Gent, we will definitely stay at Suro Guesthouse again!

Kris was lovely when he tried really hard to find us another festival to go to after the one we wanted to attend was cancelled. He's a great host, we would only recommend another doorbell that can be heard better ;)

We've had a Wonderful stay here! Excellent quality in chamber, all ecological / biological products. Our chamber had EVERYTHING: TV, RADIO, PC, coffee machine ! , plenty towels & anything! Kris, the owner, has many maps and knows many restaurants en bars and is ready to tell about anything in town. Breakfast was perfect! I'm still really excited about this place!

The room was very beautifully furnished. The price included tea, coffee and water in the room and an excellent breakfast. The host was very friendly and helpful indeed. And additional bonus was the ecological aspect of the B&B: the toilet uses rainwater, almost all lights are LED powered by sun collectors on the garden shed. The B&B is a 20 minutes walk through the university district to the historic center, but the bus connections are excellent and cost only 90 cent per person and ride.
