Suro guesthouse is a perfect bed and breakfast for any Gent travelers as well as a home base for other Belgium cities ( Bruges, Antwerp, etc..) Beyond the cleanliness, modern facilities, and overall warmth of the place the owner Kris truly makes the difference. He aloud us to borrow his bikes to take a beautiful ride into the city. Moreover, his breakfast is tremendous! I felt like he sincerely cares about giving his guests a good experience. I'll definitely recommend this place!!

The Suro Guesthouse treated us with the pinnacle of hospitality for my birthday. The room was clean and had towels and toiletries all included in the price as well as a Bose iPod dock and TV. The bed was comfy, the sheets were warm, and there was chocolate on the pillow. They even offered us free usage of a bus card to get into the center of town, and bicycles to use if we wanted. They were very helpful with things to see in Gent. The breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay here again!

Superbly ran wee B&B! Warmly welcomed, spotless rooms and the owner Kris is more than happy to provide information, bus passes and maps for Gent. We would definitely stay here again next time we are visiting the city.

I LOVE IT! Our host Kris is very nice to us. He gave us really useful information about the city and took his time to explain everything a stranger to the city has to know. I really love the newly renovated hostel and its facilities. The homemade breakfast was awesome too :) Makes me feel like home even when I'm travelling :)

More a guesthouse than a B&B, Su'ro is the home of Kris and his two daughters, who own three beatiful rooms with all the facilities you might need : He was very kind and gave us maps and directions on what to see and where to go, the room was beautiful and clean and the breakfast (left outside our room for our convenience) was huge and delicious!

I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Suro Guesthouse!! Kris, the manager, was so helpful with giving out information on things to do in Gent. He also has bikes that you can use, which I did, with no extra charge. The breakfast was soooo good too! I will most definitely stay here again whenever I'm in Gent or any other Belgian city that's nearby!! The location is a bit far from the city center, but you can get there by bike in about 15 mins or catch the bus to get there in about the same time.

Merci !

My daughter and I stayed in this lovely B&B for 3 nights in December. The owner Kris , works hard to provide an excellent service to his guests, with maps of Ghent, recommending places to eat and advise on transport if needed. Our room was very clean with two comfortable twin beds, TV, Internet, Coffee/Tea Maker with mlik, tea and coffee replenished each morning. Breakfasts were delicious and made with fresh produce. We had a lovely time in Ghent and a relaxing stay in this quality B&B.
