The staff were lovely, rooms were clean and shared shower and toilet were clean too. The heating on in the bathroom was a great idea as the room was comfortable despite the window being open. It would have been good if there were two bath mats so that we could change them round when they got wet. Having a small bar of soap or something in the room would have made the experience better. Breakfast was very good however, despite being a food lover, I strongly disliked the small croissants.

The staff was lovely and always very helpful. The room was clean and quite big. Surtees is only a bit more than 5 minutes away from Victoria Station and 20 minutes away from Buckingham Palace. Surtees will probably be our choice again when we come to London for a few days!!!

Surtees was a very affordable option considering the fact that it's in such a central location. The room was ideal for my friends and I as it can be difficult to find a room for five at a reasonable price. We found the receptionist very friendly and helpful. He helped us with directions and recommended places we might like to visit. We were very happy with our stay.

This was excellent value and in a great location - only minutes from Victoria train and bus stations and not far from all the famous attractions. The hotel room was quite small - as you would expect in London (though the toilet was a bit too micro) but the place was obviously very well looked after. Breakfast was OK and the staff were great. No wonder they are booked out for months.
