This was a great hostel in an excellent location just outside of the center of Barcelona. The metro ride is only 20 minutes, just close enough to the city center but far enough away from the touristy areas. The managers are very friendly and accommodating, even willing to wake up at 2am to open the door for latecomers. My only complaint is that the shower is not hot enough and there was very weak water pressure.

This hostel was in a neat neighborhood away from the craziness of the city. Very easy to use the metro to get into the city center. For the price, this hostel was great. The beds were extremely comfortable. The staff was excellent, especially the girl will brown curly hair and glasses. She gave us great recommendations and made our trip so much more enjoyable. The only downside was that the rooms did not lock and there were no keys available for small lockers to put passports in.

i stayed for three nights and it is a very neat hostel, cheap, the staffs are really friendly and so cute!! overall you get for what you pay

Great atmosphere! Very recommended if you travel alone and like to make friends

Its a nice place a bit far from the ity centre but the neigborhood was calm, the staff is nice as well, our room and the bathroom was clean but very small. We just stayed there for one night, was nice.

Far from the center, old, and very dirty kitchen. Apart from it, during our stay some people just entered the hostel in the middle of the night and just slept there, this because the rooms stay opened all the time. No safety, and actually no benefit at all

The beds were horrible, my back is still aching. The bathroom/shower was very unclean. Location wise it is not the best choice either. The staff was friendly however. Sorry but this place is a holiday spoiler!

Poor Cleanliness: My main problem with this hotel was the lack of cleanliness - Really dirty beds and linen (I had an extra bonus of a large hole in my bed which was not fixed in my 4 days of stay). Shared toilet was also dirty and very infrequently cleaned. Oh, plus hot water during showers would suddenly be cut off. I was there in winter. :( Cramped & Small: I literally had to hop over my bags while staying in a 4 bed dormitory-type room. Basic amenities like lights were not even working?!

it was a good hostel according to the price and i slept very well and the people there were really helpful in everything. The location was little far away but it was not a big problem because the hostel near the metro station and that's all :)

staff were really friendly and helpful.

The hostel itself has no stars, but the portugese ladies from reception are very nice..

Staff was very friendly & helpfull. They even stored our luggage on departure day. There are lockers available, but only for your valuables. No lockers/cupboards in the room. Mattress was very thin & you could feel the metal lath floor. Bathrooms are very small and filthy & should get a renovation (the one on kitchen level is newer / cleaner though). Kitchen was ok to prepare meals. You do not get a key for the room - only for the front door. Free internet / PC use. You get what you pay for.

This hostel it's very nice... I liked!

One of the best hostels I've stayed in in terms of atmosphere and friendliness. The hostels a little bit out of town but is less than a 5 minute walk to a metro stop so not a problem for getting about the city! Hostel is small and friendly with a cute living room and kitchen area normally filled with various people to chat to. The staff are are really cool too and we had a night out with the staff and other people staying in the hostel. Loved it and were sorry to leave!

a very nice and friendly hostel. We had a good time there. thank you.

Bart was absolutely wonderful and hilarious, the other staff was amazing and as well. They also had a full kitchen that was actually open to guests. The rooms were clean and had nice large windows, they made a 6 bed dorm seem huge. During our two weeks in Barcelona we are planning on going back just because it was amazing.

Stayed 4 nights in this hostel and got to know the managers, Carolina, Claudia and Bartek really well! Very cool place with friendly and helpful managers, very near to the metro station! Toilets are clean. Great vibe with people hanging out in the common room and just chatting. Perfect relaxed atmosphere, just like Barcelona!

The Sute Hostal had amazing staff that made you feel at home and helped navigating the city. It is a short metro ride into the city center and is great for a good nights sleep. The beds were comfortable, showers hot and it conveniently has a kitchen for food storage or making meals if need be.

The kitchen was tiny and there was hardly any cooking equipment. Our room was dirty. We were in a 6 bed female dorm that had no lock on the door. At one point we were getting dressed and a male member of staff just walked straight in. Didn't knock or say sorry afterwards. The bathroom was tiny and I was locked in twice needing someone to open the door from the outside to let me out. The staff were very unorganized and didn't have any change when we paid. It was just an all round bad experience

Bartek, thanks for a friendly atmosphere and kind attitude. Kris&Seba
