Location was great near a pedestrian street with many small Shops and Restaurants. The Hostel was a little hard to find though. When you are at Pingjiang Lu try to find House Nb. 134 and then walk down the alley that goes off from there. Hostel will come on the left side.Staff was friendly. Dorm and facilities are nothing special but absolutely good enough for a short stay. Unfortunately they don't provide lockers in the dorms.

Tha accomodation was very nice . like the old style Like you see in 3 Streets/7 alleys . Very nice building . In the middle of the old town with the little waters around . You heva a beautifull park nearby . the people are nice . No hot water in the showers . But the scenery and the building makes up for that .nice room to socialize with others . Everything is clean . Nice little shops by the water and they have two cat-cafe's you got tho see . Cafe with a live band just around the corner .
Positives: • The hostel staff were very friendly and helpful. • The location really is excellent. • Nice and quiet. No loud music playing all the time like other hostels. Negatives: • Staff don't know any English. None at all. Very frustrating trying to communicate in English to the receptionist. • Rooms are too dusty. • facilities are too old • showers don't work/no hot water • not much atmosphere, and no effort by the staff to create any atmosphere in the evening hours.
Great location: in the middle right of the old town and just around the corner of the Pingjian Lu - the beautiful canal street.
PROS: great location in a little alley tucked beside the pingjiang old street, have a kitchen for guests to use..... CONS: Not much of a social vibe, staff speak little to no English (gave me terribly wrong directions to my next destination), dorm room had an unpleasant moldy smell the whole time (perhaps bc its an ancient house), washrooms could be cleaned more often/thoroughly
