We were expecting a lot more. The location itself was quite a distance from Chisinau city centre, though there is a bus stop very close by, it takes almost 30 mins. The main disappointment was that we didn't have an apartment to ourselves, we were in a small room with two small beds and a TV and were given no key . The owners remained there throughout our stay and although they had no qualms about letting us in at any hour, it felt a bit awkward sleeping in a stranger's spare room.

Svetlana's a great woman. Very helpful. A coupleof things to bear in mind - her flat is on the outskirts of Chisinau, so you've got a long haul on a bus to get into the centre of town, and this is a room in someone's home (with Svetlana, kid, mum, dad) so you don't have the run of the apartment. You just have your room.
