This hotel had a friendly and helpful owner. It was a little loud at night because the street it is on is close to Xi Jie and all of its music. As an experienced traveller, I had quite my share of hostels. This is by far the best one I've ever had. The staff is so much into helping us with every needs we had. The rooms are spotless, very comfortable. The food of the restaurant is superb and very cheap. The manager Julie is very sweet. The name of the hostel do them justice, the sweetess place Ive ever been to. You have to try it! You wont regret it !As an experienced traveller, I had quite my share of hostels. I liked staying in Sweet Hotel, a fair price for a clean room, although I would have preferred a room with a window, other than that it was fine.

Julie the receptionist was very helpful. She picked us up at the li river dock (we took the boat from guilin to yangshou. Showed us everything, was able to answer any question. spoke very good english. and night life is very fun.Julie the receptionist was very helpful. The best place I stayed in China! Warm welcome on arrival at Sweet Hotel with fabulous location in Yangshuo close to the main streets. Had an ensuite single room - very clean and comfortable. Great menu for all times of day and free internet available. Julie (the owner) will organise trips for you to the light show, rice terraces, river cruises etc.
Had typical traveller accident of motorbike burn! - The staff couldn\'t do enough to help-very kind!
