Great hostel and breakfast. Nice kitchen and common room areas. Well worth a visit . Front rooms (1&2) get a lot of street noise so book the back rooms if you are a light sleeper

They published they accept credit card, but upon payment they lied its broken, then said it already covered all credit card payments for the month (it was only the 6th). After arguing for some time that we didnt have cash they talked to the owners and the machine magically started working again. They decided to charge us an extra 7% which never happened in other hostels.

Good hostel in a good location. Staff was very kind and helpful. Great luggage storage option for leaving your big bags for as long as needed.

Good location in la candelaria, unfortunately the staff was somewhat distant and it could get noisy at night. You get what you pay for. Good kitchen.

The Colombian staff are all very helpful and nice, facilities are pretty good but the beds are awful! Plastic pillows and matresses? So horrible! Also our room was pretty cold and next to the road so was quite loud, it's ok for a couple of nights though

Basic but very adequate hostel in the heart of La Candelaria. Excellent value for money. Everything's walkable. Good wifi and hotwater. Breakfast included. Lockers for valuables; laundry service on site. Mostly quiet – not a party hostel (quiet requested later in the evening). Great security. Very clean. What mostly makes the place are the owners and staff: very pleasant and helpful. For a very inexpensive stay in the heart of the historic center – highly recommended.

The Martinik works very well. The people that works in the hostel are very kind anda helpfull in anything you need.

Location is perfect! Staff is friendly and helpful, the Kitchen is quite good, they have lots of suggestions for stuff to do, wifi works great, common room areas are plenty and comfy. If you're a light sleeper the 10 bed dorm might not be the best idea though. It's a good room but you'll hear quite a bit of noise from the busy street out side.

Staff and the owner are fabulous. Couldn't do enough to help me. Great location and easy for taxis to find. Friendly chilled atmosphere. You can bring your own alcohol on site too! Novelty! Great facilities including large kitchen with unlimited free coffee and they even give you a towel. It's one of the cheapest hostels in South America. All round fantastic. Made some great memories and friends here. Well worth staying! Griff

It was sooooooooo nice!! people are kind, location also was good, too. I wanna visit here if i go back to colombia.

Great hostel in bogota, much better than the first hostel I stayed at, good staff, nice layout, but not a party hostel but still social! Highly Recomended

The hostel had a good location, central in Candelaria. Lots of nice things around there, and the old town seems charming. The workes are ok. Horrible was my bed! Like a piece of plastic that pillow, slept so bad on it. The rooms are overpriced for Colombia, cos' I slept afterwards in another hostel which was way more comfortable and cheaper.

Excellent location, awesome internet, very friendly owner that made my stay enjoyable. plenty of separate communal areas which is always handy to have your own chill out zone. a very well presented hostel thats always clean.

A very pleasant and relaxing stay, just what I needed after a gruelling flight from London!

This is a great hostel. Showers were always hot. Breakfast is help yourself and includes granola alongside the usual bread. Plenty of secure lockers for valuables both in the rooms

Facilities : great wifi, Powerpoints galore, not too many bathrooms Vibe: chilled. Nice owner and staff. Good location and secure.

The only problem is that the 10 bed dorm is in front of the very noisy Street but the other rooms are quiet. Central, safe accomodation with a very kind and helpful staff and a good, friendly atmosphere. A good place to relax after the visit of the"jungle" Bogota

there is staffs really kind n great! thank you so much to them

Great hostel with very friendly staff and the sweetest little hostel dog! Nice atmosphere, big kitchen and plenty of communal areas to hang out. Only stayed one night but would definitely stay there again if back in Bogota :)

clean hostel but lacked social atmosphere when I was there. Also at checkout, girl overcharged me and it took a 15 minute conversation to explain it her why it was wrong because she just kept shouting at me and being extremely rude. Even when it was clear that I had been overcharged , she proceeded to still have a go at me for some reason .. rather than just admitting she had made a small mistake, bizarre! However the english guy working there was really nice and helpful so thank god for him!
