Clean and quiet but in the middle of the city! I had a good experience!

Clean, right beside central station. Nightclub underneath was fairly noisy but to be expected in Sydney CBD

Very centrally located. More like a hotel with mix of families and quite elderly people sharing rooms with backpackers. Very clean and good facilities. Fire Alarm was activated early one morning and thankfully it was a false alarm. Staff totally incompetent with dealing with situation. No evacuation of building or any safety checks even when fire brigade arrived. I dread to think what would have happened in a real emergency. Totally shook my confidence (and many others) and so would not return.

The guy on reception was rude and arrogant. It says baggage storage is available, but never once says you have to pay for the priviledge! Bathroom on 3rd floor female, was not cleaned properly, and the tap kept coming off in one of the showers.

Right by the bus station. Staff very helpful, despite being busy. The hostel has huge lockers, perfect for me as I'm always carrying a load of camera equipment. Would stay again.

The kitchen and dining area could have been cleaner. I was reluctant to use the kitchen facilities. Lipstick etc on cups. Perhaps you should install dish washers and employ one kitchen-hand from say 4.00am to Midnight.

Fantastic location, so close to central station which means you can get basically anywhere in Sydney! Very relaxed vibe and great amenities.

The showers were good; dorm was good; very convenient location next to Central station for airport trains. The only thing they need to fix are the notoriously slow elevators.

Clean and friendly. Staff actually care if you have a problem and do their best to resolve it for you. Excellent location as well. Really nice, but under used roof top space as well.

The hostel is in a great location, it's clean and friendly, and the kitchen and dining are large enough to enable easy mingling or privacy, whichever you prefer. Although it's cleaned a few times daily, the kitchen did get a bit grubby so not sure what they could do about that? More paper towels? More dish racks?

Large YHA in a great location next to Sydney Central Station. Brilliant facilities with multiple TV rooms, common areas, cafe, bar and rooftop pool. Lack of free bag storage to guests checking in is disappointing. Easily the dirtiest hostel I've stayed at in Sydney (I've been to a few).

Aircondition does not work all the time and may it stuffy in the room. Room windows cannot be opened as well.

Loved the bright, clean surroundings, big lounge to relax. Met a lot of interesting room-mates. Efficient, helpful counter staff. 4-share room decently clean. What I didn't like- the counter staff had a strict queuing policy. On check in, the room key cards they gave us did not work. Yet, you have to queue up all over again, to get it fixed. One of the counter staff, an Australian woman with a black, bob-length hair, also had an attitude and was pretty rude to all travellers. Very unpleasant.
