Self contained room was very clean, quiet and able to be darkened for sleeping. Good to have a jug, tea, coffee etc in the room. Kitchen area was clean and well maintained. Lounge areas spacious and comfortable. Not cheap for a single person but reasonable value considering the location.

I was really impressed. The place is clean and the staff professional and unbelievably helpful. It;s probably the best hostel I've staying in so far. The location is fantastic: the aquarium, the observatory, the opera house, the harbor bridge and probably a lot more stuff, are all within walking distance. I will certainly stay here next time I'm in Sydney and I will certainly recommend the hostel to friends.

Discrimination hostel where they arrange guests by nationality.all Asian female guests on first floor while female Australian and europeans r placed on third floor with direct access to the roof top.an old woman in my room kept go in and out of the room 10 times from 3:30-5am until i told her stop doing that so we can catch some sleep. Next day i asked and they placed me on third floor because they run out of beds on first floor, thats why i know different the rooms are.location is the best.

Absolutely brilliant! Me middle aged in a room and my son (20) and his friend in a dorm = perfect. Breakfast and laundry together, nice relaxation in open lounge, interesting comments on archeology. They boys have come through many countries on their three months journey from Iceland through Asia to Cairns and finally Sydney: This was the best hostel. For all agegroups, I can add! Johanna M. This has to be the best value quality accommodation in Sydney... Seriously, I cannot think of one downside. You even keep fit going up and down the steps from Circular key to Cumberland Dr. Its perfect for young and old, singles, couples.... and right in the city centre.

Clean hostel. The staff member who checked me in didn't provide me with any information about check out time, or the fact that the hostel sells dinner and breakfast each day. Poor value for money, the hostel price didn't include secure lockers in rooms (they had lockers but you needed to byo or buy a lock), no free wifi and had to pay to leave luggage in storage after check out. Hostel is right by the Cahill Expressway = extremely noisy.

What a brilliant location for visiting Sydney. The Rocks is the place to be. So near the Circular Quay for boat trips and the City link railway station.

It was extremely hard work to walk to the hostel. There were many steps to take and we found this a pain. It wasn't made known on the website. The double room was more than basic. No TV although there was a socket and ariel point for one. The cost I found to be quite high for what I got and I did book well in advance. I stayed elsewhere for cheaper, hotel apartment. We couldn't book in until 2 pm despite arriving at 11 am and had to pay to store our bags.

I was only here for 2 nights but it was a comfortable 2 nights. Nearby attractions and close to transportation. No free wifi is probably the worst part.
