Lovely location though tough to get up to if you're carrying bags! Staff were friendly but it was quite expensive and no Internet. But the location was beautiful!
The hostel is very rustic and the location is in the middle of the woods. While traveling to the hostel people should know that the 156 bus and ferry typically run hourly, so you may have to wait around a bit. The facilities are very nice and very clean. There are no lockers or locks on anything, but I guess that is not really a problem when you are out in the woods.
This was by far one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. At first, it seems daunting to access, and it was. But it's not unexpected. For the amount of time/effort it took to get to this hostel, the reward is astounding. Located in the middle of a national park, with wallabies on your door steps, and an unlimited view of mountains surrounded by the ocean bays. And the stars at night, wow. Sarah and Michael were also super nice and awesome. This was an unforgettable stay! You can't go wrong.
Easy access from Sydney CBD. Lovely place to escape the city, see wild wallabies and relax in a quiet atmosphere.
