Tanaka-ya is the prettiest place I have ever seen, everything there was perfect : the atmosphere of the place (very special district + typical traditional japaneese house), the extraordinary kindness of Mrs Tanaka, the fact that you have everything you need (micro wave, fridge, hair dryer etc.) and it's so clean !!!!! Only 4 stations away from Kyoto station. I recommand this place to anyone who wants to make a real japaneese experience of Kyoto.
