Great hostel! I had an amazing time, the staff was really friendly and helpful. The hostel is clean, well located and has many common areas, it is modern but still has the "hostel" atmosphere where people can meet, chat, cook, etc. Of course there are things to improve, we stayed at a private double bed room which was very nice, but had no space for hanging clothes, little things that can be improved with little money. Still, overall we loved it and will definetely recommend this hostel!

nice hostel with a very chilled atmosphere. we were a little off season but that didnt't stop the hosts to open the bar for us and to have such a great time there. definitely would recommend the hostel to anyone. rooms are a bit small but there are many community ares to get along with each other.

pros: excellent location a block from the beach, beautiful patio with lots of tables, chairs and hammocks to hang out in, wifi was great, breakfast was decent, beautiful view of the ocean from the main building. cons: staff weren't overly friendly or helpful. we booked 4 nights as a package deal through the website that included 2 free drinks from the hostel bar, however, we never saw those drinks, rooms are VERY tight, no AC, musty smell, bathrooms aren't very clean, loud music all night.

Had a great comfortable stay here. Staff were kind, welcoming and very helpful. Kitchen was small but still manageable. Breakfast was nice, beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean with good showers. Only down side would be security. Anybody can seemly walk in down the side of the hostel and access the dorms at the rear of the hostel. There are lockers available though.

Great location and good atmosphere. The room was a bit small, but that's ok. Would stay again!

Lovely staff and people. Location is the best out of all the hostels, quite expensive but worth it. Breakfast was minimal, hot showers and aircon 😀

Party hostel. Loud music and noise until 3AM. If you don't need good sleep- go ahed.

11 bed dorm which didn't feel cramped, with lockers and plenty of space. Bathrooms were very clean with good showers. Nice communal areas both inside and out. Kitchen was a bit small with only one person able to cook at a time. Breakfast was standard. Good location next to the beach with a nice supermarket next door, short walk from the bus station.

The staff was amazing, they were all laid back and really friendly. The bar was a great atmosphere before going out for the night!

nice people working there, nice tourist sharing my room , respect between everyone, fun at night at the bar , 10/10

I only spent one night, but it seems to be a well equipped hostel. The stuff was not very friendly. No lockers in the room and very easy for people from outside to go into without passing the reception.

Overall, a nice hostel. Strategically located, 2 blocks from the beach and one block from Gorlero street. We didnt like the bathrooms, a bit messy, and our 4-bed shared bedroom was really small, id say its for 2 people only.

breakfast is good WiFi is good.

An excellent location, and great staff. The common room is quite small but comfy. I had a great stay there !

A good steady Internet connection was more than just refreshing, it was shocking. Been struggling with that in Argentina, Brazil & Uruguay for the past few weeks. Great stay in general besides my being in the room most of the time. Good staff, good music. Very clean. Very cool. Highly recommended.

Location couldn't be better for a place as generally expensive as Punta del Este. Excellent facilities, and surprisingly clean! Staff were friendly and outgoing. As a solo traveler this made a big difference in my stay. The common spaces here also get a shout out, as common areas allow travelers to relax and socialize in a comfortable environment. We (myself and other hostelers) had a solid night on the town despite the fact that it was still the shoulder season. Cheers!

The hostel was great. Friendly staff, relatively clean rooms and common areas, nice atmosphere, and at two blocks from Playa Emir, the location can't be beat. My only complaint is that there was no place to hang anything in the room (hook, hangers, etc.). Also, the showers run salt water. I didn't mind, but it should say so on the hostelworld info page.

I would say this place is pretty average all around. The staff were definitely great! Spaces weren't the cleanest -- it looks like they're going through a renovation though. Fine place to stay considering it's way more affordable than most in Punte del Este.

We had arrived and there was nobody there until 9am which they failed to put on their website so we had to wait for 2hours. It was getting renovated and there wasn't much happening so it was a bit boring. We met some cool people but overall an ok stay.
