This newly opened simple and small guesthouse is perfectly situated, only one stop away from Umeda station and within walking distance of many of the city's attractions.
We converted this 70's-style building to the guesthouse with help from local young artists.

==Before booking===
Please note that all our facilities are on shared basis as we are designed with independent travelers and young backpackers in mind. We are a hostel and not a hotel. Our hostel is not suitable for people who are elderly, small kids, or people who are sensitive to noise. If you have never stayed at a 'hostel', please type it into your search engine to understand better what kind of accomadations you can expect. We are focused on giving you a fun and cheap way to travel, rather than providing luxuries. We hope you understand and enjoy your stay at TEN.

---Location---
We are located just one stop away (or 20 a minute walk) from Osaka central station, and a few minutes walking distance from 4 different stations. No matter where you are going, traveling by train will be extremely convenient-- there are 3 train lines within a few minutes by foot:
JR line, Metro Tanimachi line (purple), Metro Sakaisuji line (brown).
The JR Osaka Loop line - Tenma station is also just a 12 minute walk away.

Our district, Tenma, is known as the eating and drinking hub in Osaka.
A 2.5km long roofed shopping arcade (Tenjinbashisuji Shotengai) is just a minute
away-- there are 600+ shops and restaurants in this shopping mall!
This area is a potpourri of cheap, nice restaurants, a 24 hours super market, convenience stores, coffee shops, living ware shops and standing bars, banks, post offices...everything you will need! You will enjoy meeting nice local Osakan people and spending time as if you were living in this town.

You will also be within walking distance to several major tourist attractions like the Osaka castle, Nakanoshima park area�renting a bike for only JPY500 per day takes you anywhere in Osaka city! Trains are also very convenient to have a one day trip to Kyoto, Nara, Kobe, Koyasan or even to Himeji.

And if you are keen on enjoying a beer or dancing the night away, the glorious Kita Umeda district of clubs, wine bars, restaurants, and cafes is just a 20 walk or 1 stop by train.

---Accommodation---
We offer accommodations in various styles - single and twin rooms, double rooms, shared rooms or dormitory style. Since all rooms except for 8-beds dormitories are Japanese-style rooms with tatami mats and futon beds, they remain quite homey. No need to bring bedding - this is included in the accommodation. Private shower rooms are shared and separated, available 24 hours.

Facilities available for FREE: hi-speed WLAN(Wi-Fi) in the lobby, personal lockers, sandals, hairdryers, kitchen, drinking water, free coffee, free maps, clean linen sheets soft mattress pads in the room ...and more!

---Services---
About half of our hostel guests are domestic tourists, and the cafe on the first floor is also for locals, which means you will have many chances to meet local people staying in our hostel.
Our friendly staff at reception are always there to help you with travel advice and recommendations for places to see.

CHECK IN POLICY

Check in time : 3 PM � 11 PM
Check out time : anytime -11 AM

*Luggage storage is available between 8 AM-11 PM.
Check as early as possible if you haven't booked your bed beforehand. The entrance is locked until 8 AM so please arrive after 8 AM.

*If you arrive before 3 PM, we proceed the check-in for you and give you a password so that you can come back home anytime, 24 hours.

*There is NO elevator in our hostel. Rooms are located on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th floor.

*All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted on the first-floor lounge.

*Neither shared nor private rooms are equipped with private bathrooms, showers, televisions or telephones. Bathrooms and showers are shared by all guests.

*Currently, TEN is not handicap-accessible. All rooms are located on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th floor. Shower rooms are located on the 2nd floor.

*Please make full payment in Japanese Yen at reception when you check in. Please note that all credit card transactions are subject to a 5% processing fee.
