We had a large group staying at the hostel and it worked out nicely for us. The new manager is really friendly and helpful. He was also relaxed and provided some awesome breakfast provisions. Excellent hostel, had a great stay. Aricio's a champ and goes out of his way to help you. Cautiously booked only one night but ended up staying four. Great fun and highly recommended! I understand that TIU is under new management and that the last guy who apparently left in the middle of night wasn't good. I don't know that group but this group is AWESOME! Me and my 2 buddies went out with them on Saturday night and we had a table of 20 really fun people, they arranged transport to the airport the next day, the price was the best, etc. Couldn't ask for more!I understand that TIU is under new management and that the last guy who apparently left in the middle of night wasn't good. Super Hostel, especially for Ukrainian standards. The owner was super nice and helped out where he could. For example he gave me a map and made me a route which I could walk to see interesting places. Spoke perfect English. Located near the train station, easy to find. Hostel is under new management and you cannot fault the work that is going into imrpoving the hostel. Aricio the manager is a great cook and is extremely helpful with numerous bits and bobs on the city. Went to the local bar called the hospital bar with the staff and other hostel memebers and had food and drink for a cheap price for a capital city. Don't be put of by the old Soviet style appartments the hostel is located in.
