I had a great stay at the TIU Front Page Hostel. While the place was pretty dead since it was the off season, this just meant that the place was very quiet, extra clean and I got to chat a lot with the great staff. I have stayed in many hostels before and something I really appreciated about this one was how roomy it was-- the main 12 bed room was large, as was the kitchen and living room. They were helpful in giving me advice about Odessa as well as my future travels in Ukraine. Thanks TIU!

Excellent hostel to stay in while exploring Odessa. Room I stayed in was spacious, bed was comfortable, kitchen well equipped, good wi-fi. Location is fantastics. What make a difference though is as always great owner / staff. Adam has so many interesting tales to share that you could easily miss all the sightseeing part and spent all your stay listening to his stories. Sveta is very kind and helpful person. And last but not least my best friend Murka :) Thank you all!

A great location and place to meet people, TIU has a lot to offer. The staff are very helpful and accommodating as well as knowledgable about the area. My only recommendation is to book before going as it does fill up.

perfect location, clean showers and good wifi, but the common area could be more comfortable

1.) extremely poor mattresses in the bunk beds - one gets the feeling they have been there since the 1980's. I feel I could have got a better night's rest on the park bench outside. Very high cootie factor 2.) there was a really strange and delirious old man wandering around the place, randomly appearing, talking to himself at all hours of the day. 3.) the church bells are ridiculous loud and constant. You might as well be in the bell tower with Quasimodo because you are at eye level with it..

In Odessa this is a friendly hospitable place to stay. Adam, Sylvia and Sveta make every effort to make their guests feel comfortable.

Good location if you want to be close to the town and very helpful, friendly staff. I think the scores for Ukrainian hostels here should be taken relative against other Ukrainian hostels. I don't necessarily think that it can compare to the very best hostels in the world that also receive 90+% ratings. Having said that, I did enjoy staying here very much and would return.

Fantastic character - hostel is in a former print works and the walls are adorned with a variety of magazine and newspaper pages. The hostel office is decorated with extracts from Playboy magazine. Sylvia, the hostel manager is absolutely superb - so helpful and full of advice. Only disadvantage is that there are only three toilets and three showers.

The hostel is excellent for exploring Odessa and also to chill out in the common rooms. Very clean with free tea and coffee, lovely staff. The shower's are great but the beds in the dorms could be softer. Great place to stay!

I'm sure I will be back there. Excellent place, excellent people and Odessa is really amasing place!
