Even though a bit hard to find for the first time, the location is one of the best. Staff very friendly and with the lockers everything is also good. Really like it there, lots of space even in the dorm.

Well run hostel with friendly stuff. We had a little trouble finding the place. Be sure to enter building #8 from Khreshchatyk St. - than continue to the 8b building. There is an entrence on your right (wooden door). There is no sign of the hostel. You will find it on the 4th floor, aprt. 11.

TIU Kreschatik was the best choice for us! It is situated quiet in the center of the city, the host was very helpful and friendly. It was also very quiet and peaceful stay, thanks a lot guys for a kind reception! Irina & Sergey from Rostov-on-Don

Stayed in the private room for a week, not one complaint to be had. Olga is perhaps the most helpful and friendly of the hostel owners I have ever met. Your doorstep is Kiev\'s main strip, so you\'re as close to everything as you would want to be. Recommend.

Real nice staff and nice people staying there aswell. And the location couldn't be better!! In the heart of the city.. I found out that people in Kiyv are helpful but especially at the hostel. They helped me out with bookings of taxis and my daytrip to Chernobyl and Pripyat.

There are two rooms for guests in this hostel (it takes up a regular yet large apartment) - one dorm and one private, I didn't notice more than 5 people at the hostel. 1 toilet and 1 bathroom seemed enough, although I could imagine it getting a bit bisy. We were staying in a private double room. Everything was excellent (Olya, the owner, was extremely friendly and helpful!), maybe a bit noisy (or animated)) in the evening but overall we were very satisfied.

Great place. Olya is very nice and she let me store my luggage the day I left for free until my late train.

I stayed some days in this hostel. Location of hostel can not be better and it is very easy to find it. Staff (girl Olga) is very kind and always ready to help. Unlike many other hostels in Ukraine where I was and where staff speaks English very bad, her English is excellent. I definitely recommend TIU Kreschatik hostel.

First time I have used a Hostel and it is an interesting concept... I found if maybe a little different for someone like me. But it was a nice place and surprisingly comfortable.

Nice little hostel. Biggest draw is the location right outside the main square and walking distance to many of the churches and monuments, as well as some amazing parks. The Ukrainian girl working there was wonderful, and the dorm and kitchen are nice.

Staff and location fantastic - couldn't be better. BUT, it's stretching the truth to call it a "hostel". It's an apartment with lots of people in it. All rooms lead off the hallway, so in the "private" room you can hear everything going on in the common areas, even though people were considerate and whispered. There's one toilet, one shower. No problem if not busy, but I wouldn't want to be there when it's full in summer. Also, there was a guy sleeping rough in the stairwell: building not secure
