A great deal but you get what you pay for. It's not as buzzing as most youth hostels nor is the staff as interactive. Showers are located in the same room as the toilets which can make for some wet trips to the bathroom. They provide soap, shampoo, and a towel though which is nice. Something (a door knob, a shower head, a toilet paper holder, etc.) was always broken during my time there. Location isn't great either but they do provide jeepney routes for you to decipher on your own.
This hostel is really nice, staff were friendly and organized for us to go to Oslob whale shark snorkeling! Had an awesome time. Defo stay here again. Scott from England
A male guest brought a prostitute to the dormitory. Their activities are a nuisance to others. There are not many nearby eating places.
This place is ok. Beds are short, you need to be 5'6 to fit without your feet hanging off. There is a rooftop area where you can hang out, meet some people. They do not allow outside food or alcohol, kind of BS. You are about a 5 minute bus ride form the center of town, the bus stops right outside. Cabs are really easy to catch. The showers are tiny, I didn't feel they were clean. The whole place is cramped. They have security 24 hours a day on the ground floor and staff are around 24 hr
a good value in cebu if you are looking for one. prices are inexpensive and got a meal for only USD 2, wow. met fellow travellers who are now good friends of mine. wifi is not that fast but stable so no big deal. i recommend this place.

Only for midgets who don't need the toilet! Dorm beds are very small - about 1.5m long with a restrictive bed frame so I couldn't put my feet over the edge. Only 1 working communal toilet (with shower- so yes it can be a long wait)... they had a sign saying 200 peso fine for brining outside food - but this is a hostel right?
Very nice roof terrace. The dorm are small but OK.
A clean, well thought out hostel. Only gripe is beds are a little short for a tallish person - 5'8"/9". If I had been taller, I would have struggled much more. Bearing in mind I stayed in a female dorm
Average at best. No atmosphere, terrible Internet, overpriced for what they offer.
Good hostel, rooms are cheap, food isn't that nice. There's a small roof top terrace which is quite nice. There isn't a big communal area so meeting people isn't that easy
Good hostel! clean place, nice staff, wifi. Only downfall is its location, but you can get there to the city centre with a cheap jeepney or a taxi ride. A taxi from the airport is about 200-300 pesos. They just opened a new hostel on Bohol island (but look it up online in the city of "tagbilaran"). and that was nice and new!
This was my first hostel experience and it was great. The girl(s) at the front desk were super knowledgeable and helpful, they were able to answer all the questions we had about where to go and how to get there. Rooms were super clean and the rooftop bar, although small was a perfect spot to enjoy a beverage and view the city. Wifi was so so, but that's everywhere in the Philippines ;)

It's pretty good. It's quite basic but staff are helpful and always on reception.
