It's a bit hard to find, now that the bus routes have changed - take the X4 from the airport in the direction of Birzebbugia and get off at one of the first stops, just past the roundabout with the army barracks on the left. It's five minutes from the airport. Had a great stay. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and full of suggestions about what to do in the area. Beautiful farmhouse with a big pool too.

This guesthouse is absolutely fantastic! The perfect place for a relaxing stay in a brilliant situation. Violet and Albert are so so welcoming and friendly and do anything to make your stay the best it can be. It was definitely the best place we stayed, the only problem was that we couldn't extend our stay!

we had a fantastic time at ta bertu, violett and Albert were the best hosts some of the nicest people, very keen to give us advise on where to go and what to see. the house and grounds are very pretty and the pool was great to cool down. I particularly enjoyed the brekfast which comes with violetts home made marmalades and jams, using oranges and fruit grown herself. I should also mention alberts wine, which was exelent, also grown from his own vines. it is a great place to explor Malta.

We're very disappointed about the ten euros that the owner of this guest house claimed after he brought us "kindly" to the airport (5 km away from his home). It's not fair and definitely not in the spirit of this website !
