Not sure why this place got GREAT reviews, maybe those people were in a private bungalow? We stayed in the 6 person room. This was "glorified camping": windows were wide open which meant ants, bees, mosquitos, moths & lizards all over the room, & was a worm in the shower. Nice to be by a beach, but too far frm Papeete. Upside: free use of kayaks & snorkeling gear. We were UPSET bc Ralph picked us up but didn't tell us UNTIL THE DAY WE WERE LEAVING we had to pay $30! Would NOT stay here again.

The hostel is a little nice place. though it's a far away from Papeete, you can take a bus or hitchikking!!! it's save and easy!! The host is very helpful, he tried to help us in anyway he can. he gave us some fruit in his garden for a try. there's quite a lots of mosquitoes. he helped us finding net for each of us. But hope that he can have the net for each bed. the place is a bit dirty and the kitchen facilities are basic. But you can enjoy their little beach at back and borrow their kayak!!
