Excellent stay at Taaroa Lodge. Great location right on a beach with the use of free kayaks and snorkeling equipment. Ralph is very helpful and picked me up at the airport. They also let me leave some things with them while I travel around the islands. Looking forward to returning!

This is your perfect beach resort, backpacker! You cannot wish for anything better... Just have in mind that the buses on Tahiti work ca from 5-17 6 days a weak, and this place is 18 km from town (which makes it perfect!!!)

ralph needs to brush up on his ENGLISH,speaking and understanding of it, i thought there was a hight of ignorance on some days, due to his other 'stayers' in the 'chalets' because they all spoke french, they stuck together, and i only assume that they were either guests or family members, i felt like i was out on a limb, the place was about 1/2hr out of town, bus signs on the stops left a lot to be desired, no up to date info on what was on.
