Perfect location friendly staff with really excellent atmosphere! If can be a hotel with minimum 3 stars! In old part of the city with excellent commodity!

Very nice and clean new rooms and bathrooms. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Hostel is near the center of the city so everything was at the close reach. Zagreb is nice city too.

Everything was great, from the location to the people staying there. Made some really good friends there. Safe place, in the heart of the city, good beds and showers.

The staff was very helpful in answering my questions and in assisting me with the logistics for the next leg of my journey. The hostel is well organized, clean, and quiet. I slept very well and hope to stay here again when I return to Zagreb.

The location is perfect and the staff very helpful. It`s a little bit noisy if you want to have a good sleep.

The hostel was being renovated when we stayed - the room looked nothing like the photos on here! The staff were lovely and the location was great but it was expensive giving the condition it was in. To be honest, we would've appreciated a discount giving we had to clamber over building materials on the way in/out.

This is probably the best hostel I've ever been to! Location is great- walking distance from bars and cafés (even being in the heart of Zagreb, I didn't hear any noise from the streets!). Staff very friendly and helpful, brand new rooms - it's like staying in a hotel, but cheap as a hostel. Single room was huge, even sharing the bathroom I felt like I was the only one using it because it was always very clean. If you want to stay at a nice/safe/clean/cheap place, Taban is the palce!

For hostel rates, you're getting what seems like three-star hotel lodgings, all spanking new with quality showers, right in the heart of Zagreb. Perfect, actually.

was off season so I was upgraded from singel shared, to a private room ensuite which was great. staff was nice and tried to help with any question. nice big room, just on the main bars/pubs street. wifi was perfect.

Great location , great cafe bar. Brand new Hostel. I loved Taban Hostel so much. I met really good backpackers and Croatians @ bar. I had a so much fun time there. I will be back for sure!

In one word - wow! This is most superb hostel I've ever stayed in, brand new, huge room with ensuite bathroom, excellent location straight in center where all bars and restaurants are. Even hostel has it's own bar on ground floor. All in all this is more a hotel than hostel. Will be back for sure!
