Excellent location just 1-1/2 blocks from Town Hall Square. Japanese owner very friendly and helpful. Maps provided with suggestions about best things to see. They can book tours to National Park in conjunction with Tallinn Backpackers. But unlike Tallinn Backpackers, this is not a party hostel, but a nice quiet place to stay. Also have female dorm, which I appreciated. Only drawback was 2 flights of stairs to reach third floor hostel, but they carried my big bag for me so no problem.

The Tabinoya Hostel is a lovely, cosey place in the heart of the medieval city centre of Tallinn. People are friendly & very helpful & the no-shoe-policy makes you feel at home right away (no worries - slippers will be provided, if needed). The rooms are nice&clean, it is not noisy, the bathrooms (with Sauna!) are tidy, breakfast is basic & but good (plus a fridge for your own food)! We felt welcome and comfortable! Location, value for money & atmosphere make this place 100% recommendable! ^_^

My booking was wrong, so I didn't arrive there the day I booked... But I got a really nice email from someone of the staff asking about my well-being. They were so kind as not to charge me for the nights I booked. I would have changed my booking for the right dates but unfortunately they were already completely booked. So I can't say more about that hostel than that

The owners of the hostel really pay attention to detail. They have cute plants in the common room, they clean every nook and cranny, and they bend over backwards to give you helpful travel advice. We loved our stay, and choosing this hostel was ABSOLUTELY the best! I'm hoping to come back to Estonia in the summer and I will make sure to book in advance. :)

Really happy with this hostel. In my previous trips to Tallinn went to different hostels and never ended up happy with them, but this time it was absolutely wonderful. Located just next to the Town Hall square, so it's perfect. The staff is very nice and friendly and the hostels was way cleaner than any others hostels I've been where I only had to pay 10 € per night. Highly recomended.

Was very pleased with my stay here. Very chilled, organized and super clean. No surprise - its actually owned by Japanese backpacker!:) So he knows what travelers need. p.s. They have a sauna in the hostel, how cool is that??
