That was one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in. The atmosphere was perfect. Lovley staff. And the best Thing was Family dinner on sunday. You get to know the People and it's supergood for the atmosphere. The rooms are clean and the bed is very comfortable. They have a nice rooftop where you have a good view to the sea.

Super good location, close to the center and to the beaches. Talking after 12 inside or around the hostel is frowned upon. Atmosphere is not that fun at the hostel, it's just a place to stay don't plan on socializing at the hostel. Breakfast is a bit poor as well A family hostel mainly

Best hostel of my entire 6 month trip. Amazing owners and staff! Is literally like a family. Awesome building and all the facilities you need. Location is perfect. Everyone I meet here was wonderful. Everyone had booked a few nights and always kept extending there stay. Was so sad to leave, highly recommended, can't wait to return!

loved this place! bianca on reception was amazing. most thorough overview of the town and beaches. breakfast is good, simple but nice gourmet bread rather that the white sugary stuff. the only complaint was that our dorm room didn't have an overhead light, meaning the lamps on each child bunk were the only in the room. we were also downstairs from the kitchen /living area so WiFi didn't work in our room. but all the other awesomethings made this just a small inconvenience. Definitely stay here!

This hostel is perfect for a beach holiday! Staff are really helpful, I'd forgotten my usb charger at my previous hotel and the girl who worked there offered to lend me hers until I could buy a new one! Great location, fully equipped kitchen! It's great! They throw a family dinner every Sunday which was delicious and a great way to meet people staying in the hostel, without a hardcore party feel! Only let down was the terrible coffee in the coffee machine that cost 50 cents.

Standard Portuguese Breakfast, nice house, friendly and helpful staff, good and central location in Lagos. The rooms to the main street are a bit noise at night and in the morning

Beautiful hostel with a great rooftop terrace. If you're searching for a rather calm stay, this place is perfect. It's not a party hostel and the community areas are being closed at 12 at night. Couples, be careful - the place only has one couple room, the other 2 person rooms are bunk bed rooms. ;-)

Filipa goes above and beyond in creating a cozy atmosphere and making her guests feel at home! She knows each guest by name, has excellent recommendations for food/activities in Lagos, and is lovely to have a conversation with (and her staff too!). The hostel is charming and clean, with a beautiful view from the rooms/terrace :) You won't be disappointed if you stay here!

It's a nice hostel but there is no atmosphere at all. It's good only if you are planning to be by yourself for most of the time.

Loved it here! quiet, easy going, clean... Such a nice break from loud, party hostels. This was a place to relax and appreciate the beautiful town of Lagos. It was nice to chill out on the roof terrace or dining room and get to know other travelers. The hosts were both very kind and helpful, breakfast was simple and delicious and Urso the dog was a huge bundle of joy too. The room upstairs was quieter than my downstairs room because it didn't get noise from the street. Wifi was average.

All of the hostels in Portugal are excellent, and this was no exception. Very cute hostel with a beach atmosphere! The hostel is very close to the marina and not far from the beach, and it was very easy to find. There is an excellent deck to view sunrise and enjoy the weather. Fillippa was so kind and helpful. It is not a party hostel, but it is still very easy to meet people, and you can always find places to party in the town before coming back in.

This is a beautiful place to stay in Lagos!! The rooftop patio is an AMAZING place to hang out both day and night. Fillipa - the owner - is so lovely and kind and does such a wonderful job keeping the house welcoming and clean. She is also so helpful with questions and booking activities. This is not your typical party hostel in Lagos, it's the place to stay for a quiet haven outside of the party craziness!! We loved it.

Had a wonderful stay at Tag Hostel, Filipa couldn't have been more helpful, friendly, or full of information. Lovely bright and clean and airy hostel, with a great terrace to hang out on. Great to be able to borrow parasols etc for the beach, and a great location. I really liked getting a padlock with your keys to safely put away passport etc. Only thing lacking a little was the breakfast (not great coffee/fruit) and maybe a bit of athmosphere, but I made friends easily still. A fantastic stay!

Nice hostel, the location is perfect (close to a metro and train station), the staff was very kind (always suggesting activites and giving tips about the city), super clean, the dorm was faultless. The first floor is always full of people and the music can be sometime lound, but you can't heard anything in the dorm. I had a nice time!

One of the best hostels I have stayed at. Clean rooms and bathrooms, friendly staff , great facilities and I felt at home there The patio is amazing and worth the stay alone. WiFi was hit or miss so make you travel plans before coming. As a note, this is not a party hostel so don't come here if you are looking for beer pong etc.

Perfect location and very nice hostel!! I arrived a little early/before check in time and that distressed the owner (re- luggage storage) so not friendly initially but 5 minutes later and the rest of the time very nice. Great rooms, huge comfy beds and lockers, great kitchen and terrace. Definitely a great place to stay. Not a party hostel, if you want to enjoy the beaches and relax stay here

Great location. Facilities are a bit minimal, however, there is a gorgeous terrace. If the price is right grab it!

Couldn't ask for a better location. Everything was clean, breakfast was better than many hostels (toast w/ jam, coffee, tea, oranges, turkey and cheese, cereal, oatmeal), and their 12pm quiet hour is true. There's a cool outdoor terrance area with a nice view, and a kitchen with fridge space for you.
