A nice little hostel right in the heart of Bangkok. The hostel was fairly hard to find as it was not actually on Khao San Road, but down an alley, but the folks around were more than willing to direct us to the hostel. The room itself consisted of a bed and a fan and that's it. Pretty spartan but I guess for the price and location you can't argue. The staff were lovely. We were leaving early and so would miss breakfast so he hung up the a few coffees and bread things outside our door. Excellent.

Great location for experiencing Khao San road, just off the street enough so it's peaceful. Never had to wait to use a bathroom coffee toast and fruit free every morning :) friendly staff

I arrived in Bangkok after traveling in Nepal for a month, so my frame of reference is a much poorer and less developed country. This place is very good value for money. The rooms are very clean (I stayed in two different rooms) and the shared showers and toilets very well kept. Don't believe those who mention bed bugs. One room did not have the remote for AC, but they were quick to get a replacement. English is sufficiently good here. For such low price on KSR, this is hard to beat.

The staff was not helpful at all except for the cleaning woman, the bed was the worst I've ever have... I slept in the floor it was better...

Bed bugs, no real help from staff at all. More benches and tables downstairs than there are people to accommodate. Not the best but location is good and quiet for how close it is to khao San road. But I left to find another for my remaining days there.

The staff wasn't really kind and the atmosphere was not so friendly. You should be more interested in your guests. The structure is a bit old and need some reformation.

The only good thing about this hostel is its location, just off kho San rd and the wifi connection. The staff are no assistance at all and can barley speak English. There is ment to be a security door to all of the rooms up stairs, however this is never locked. The rooms are only locked by a padlock. The rooms are tiny and have barely enough too move. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything.

some bed rooms can hear people on the balcohly speaking, or loud noisy TV going on, but overal it is acceptable for the price of the room,i like their free wifi also, and their breakfast in the morning was also good. discovered a single room few blocks away fro 180/night (no wifi no breakfast 6 floor) so moved there. but this one is a bit nicer and easier to go around

Great location & still quiet. The restaurant never seems to be open and they don't seem to mind. Very clean, nice rooms with fan or aircon, great value for money. Not much chance to meet people in the hotel but you're on Khao San Road so that isn't a problem! VERY tricky to find. It is at the top end of Khao San (other end to bus drop off) next to KFC and a tailors, walk up the small alley next to the tailors. I would recommend.

Nice Hostel, small but clean and quiet rooms, clean restroom, friendly stuff. Hostel is hard to find. After KFC in Khao San Road you have to enter really dark narrow street. We didn't expect to find a hostel there. But because of this, it's calm and still central located.

I booked a room with a/c. When I arrived they gave me a room with a/c but the remote control didn’t work. It was possible to turn on the a/c but it was way to cold to sleep in the room with a/c running and way to hot without. The staff hardly speaks English so it was really difficult to explain them the problem and it seemed they didn’t bother. I had to fight for another room. No map and explanations of sights available and neither is common room. Shower and cleanliness were ok thou.

Clean rooms, clean bathroom, 50 mts from Khao San Road: great. I just got a single room, it perfect if you like to party but you are lazy, you're just one minute from Khao San.

This place is great for its location at the bottom of Khaosan although for aircon it's possibly a bit pricey. The fan rooms really were too hot as they were so small, they could probably just aircondition the entire accommodation level and that would sort everything out. Bathrooms and rustic but good showers and nice sink, feels clean although possibly isn't. English of staff isn't great but then why should it be, overall not a bad place for the price and location.

Great location! Close to Khao San Road, but absolutely quite... except the staff who was sleeping in the restaurant on the floor everything was quite nice! The staff was very unfriendly and you always had the impression that you disturb them...
