Down an alley off Khao San Road which appealed to avoid noise, but swarming with stray cats making so much noise and smelt of cat wee. Room was fair but battered, shower room grotty and water too cold. No lobby to meet people.I heard a rat just behind one of my bedroom walls scratching and squeaking, I got moved then to a double room which was slightly less tatty. I'd pay more for a better hostel in future and stay away from dirty Khao San Road, everywhere is cheap and easy to get to in Bangkok.

Good place to save money, very clean amd close to the kaosan rd.

It was a good place to stay, except it smells like sewers in the rooms. Great location and good value for money

positive: free breakfast, location direct on Koh San Road but very quiet. negative: dirty sheets, smelly room (above the kitchen), dirty bathroom (streetcats come into the constantly open window), facilities look old and worn i only stayed in Bangkok for a very short time, so i didn't mind and didn't look for a different place. But i would not go there again.

The room was basic but clean and cosy! The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help. Free wifi available which is always good. I loved sitting out on the porch eating breakfast in the morning. Bliss!
