Location is close from Ximending, very convenient. The staffs are also friendly and helpful with directions. They also help me arranged for a better room even I didn't ask for it (: Thank you for the considerations!

I believe an average hostel for the region, rooms are very small and have no windows making ventilation very difficult, but i think it is value for money. Facilities would be more proffessional, however comparing to other hostels in Taipei I think these facilities are ok.

I feel itching everytime i am on the bed and it make me feel horrible that i feel somethings that biting me and make me reddness and itching and i can't imagine that it will happen on me!! i dont know why it maybe the cleaniness of the hostel is poor.Beside, the air-condition is quit noisy and not cool enough and the temperature is stardard that we can not control the temperature setting. The itchiness and noisy come from the air-conditioner make me quit annoying. It not worth for money!

We wanted somewhere cheap and near the train station as we were only planning to stay one night in Taipei. We had a private room, but it was a twin which had bunk beds. It was quite a small room, with not much space to move around but it was fine with us because we only wanted to be in Taipei for one night anyway. The staff were friendly and spoke English, which was helpful for us! The hostel was basic and clean. It was in a great location, near the main station and a short walk from the MRT

Staff are friendly and helpful. This has a real backpacker feel, facilities are all pretty basic and simple, nothing fancy. Its located in a pretty busy part of town, shopping streets full of young people. I prob wouldnt stay here again, and spend a bit more money and go somewhere nicer. But it is a good location and cheap.

Difficult to find the place. No signboard saying taipei backpackers. So gotta check the number. The room was stuffy and one of the staff was a little hostile on our first day. Room had this smelly mouldy smell but was better on the second day. Aircon can only be switched on at certain timings. Towards the end of our stay, we met friendlier staffs that helped us book hotspring in xin Bei tou.
