Excellent Location but no hot water in some bathroom. Shampoo and shower gels are proivded which is no nice. Staffs are helpful and nice.

The only con is the windows of the rooms, which are not facing outside, so can't get natural light and good vent of air.

the room is not very well-ventilated and has a musty smell (not overwhelming, but can cause some slight discomfort and give an impression that it is not very clean) security-wise, I am not very comforatble also, as on the first day when i arrived, the main door was open and i could just walk in without anyone stopping. it does not help that the reception doesnt open till 0830am. I notice als that it is possible to walk into the dorm rooms without passing by the reception counter.

As an experienced visitor to Taiwan, I would say this is a really convenient hostel for newbies: it's right next to the Taipei Main Station! What more should I expect? It has really saved us a lot of time. Well, just a minor flaw, the ventilation of rooms (esp. the bathrooms) has to be improved. I'm afraid it's gonna be quite stuffy and dampy when it comes to spring or so.

Very close to Taipei Main Station and easy to find. Professional and convenient.

There are quite a few stairs to get from the hostel to the train and bus stations, but otherwise it's super convenient. I felt welcomed. The seating area in the lobby is really comfortable, and there are plenty of easy amenities.

I stayed at this hostel in 2007. I had found memories of this place and returned in 2012. They were helpful and friendly. The new renovations are a major improvement. A bit expensive, but really safe and in a good location.

A shelf should be installed at the first floor toilet / bathroom for us to put clothes during changing or bathing.
