Taipei Cheeky House (TPE City Hall) Reviews

It's near Taipei City Hall station,only 2mins walk. SYS and Taipei 101 is on walking distance too. I stayed here for 4nights but i only saw the host/staff once at our 1st time checked in. The room never been cleaned when we stayed there.You need to emptied your own garbage to keep it clean.They only give one thin blanket for us. I think we will get pneumonia if we didn't bring our own blanket. And we stayed on 5th floor (no elevator) which is killing us everyday after a whole day outside.

It was a really nice hostel and Karen, the girl who runs the hostel is so great! She cares about her guests and you can ask her everything if theres a problem. She will solve it. :)

The location is nice, but the windows didn't keep out the wet cold at all. I think they tried to clean the bathroom by showering it all over, which made it thoroughly wet but not clean (long black hairs everywhere).

No hostel atmosphere, service was quite bad. We were searching for the entrance for 1/2h (no sign at all) since nobody answered us either via Whatsapp or phone call. This hostel just offers 4 rooms, i'm ok if they don't have 24h service DIRECTLY at the hostel but at least they should offer support within a reasonable time if someone is asking through Whatsapp, i sent a message at 9.20pm and got my response on the following day at 8.45am, also during the day i had to wait for more than 1h!!!
