WORST hostel experience I\'ve ever had. Very careless, disorganized staff!! They ask you to call 1h before arriving. I emailed 2 days ahead to confirm my reservation, then called, texted, AND emailed 2hours before arriving to reconfirm. Nobody responded. When I arrived, nobody was there, phones off, I was left stranded on the street. The next day they called to ask if I still wanted to stay there...no, obviously. They promised to refund deposit, still hasn\'t come through, no response to emails.

There aren\'t any staff even you see some light inside. You can go if you want to free.

The staff was very helpful and the location is close to the night market :) Bathrooms are small, but clean, wifi is working very well. We had a pleasant stay !!

Small hostel in an alley off Roosevelt Road, super close to the lovely Shida night market, the best place for evening snacks in all of Taipei. Close to the subway and only a few stops away from Taipei station. Small rooms, hostel not staffed, so you have your own key to let yourself in. The check in staff speak basic English and are only a phone call away if you need them. I have stayed here three times and it a good place to stay for a few days in Taipei.

the toilet had no hot water. when its winter, this was terrible! and there's no staff on hand to fix this or to ask about this. in fact, most of the time, i couldnt find a staff in the pad at all. the only time i had interaction with a staff was when i had to call him in advance to arrange the check in. that being said, the privacy and seemingly none existence of anyone was pretty good.
