Taipei Happy Family Hostel-ZhongShan Station Reviews

Tom kept remote control for air-conditioning every room with himself. We must call him to open air. He switched off every light. We are very serious with his activity. Toilet and baht room have only one each. We will be looking for another place for our next visit.

The location is near MRT stationl.It is so convenient. On the other hand, located at next to bar. It is so noisy around 1 to 2AM. Remote of AC is kept by Tom. It is hard to change the temp of AC. Use of AC around from 9am to 9pm costs extra 100 NTD. Not operation time of AC, Mosquito comes into the room especially when it rains.I had to struggle with it. I couldnot stay at this hostel comfatably.As if i were in someone`s house watched over by manager and staff. i didnot feel staying at hostel.

The location is convenient and near to the MRT station. You can get everything like local food and basic necessities in this neighborhood. The owners are nice, friendly, generous and willing to help to make my stay comfortable. And it is well-maintained and one of the cleanest hostel I have ever stayed. It worth the money. Look forward to staying in this lovely hostel in the future.

To choose Happy Family is a right choice and decision for your travel in Taipei. Location is convenient. Tome is friendly and helpful. Friends in Happy Family are nice.

Very clean, comfortable accommodation. Close to everything - just 1 block from the train station and airport bus stop. Staff very helpful in recommending some great (and cheap) restaurants.

The hostel was renovated this year so the facilities and the rooms were very modern and new. You Re located in the center, around the zhongsanstreet, with the mrt stops around the corner and the main station and bus station n a walking distance. The manager was very friendly to help us with directions and suggestions. You will get a very nice accomodation for the price.

We had a pleasant stay in Taipei. Tom is so helpful and take good care of us. This hostel is worth every dollar. If you ask me what to suggest, i would say...adding more air conditioner remote control or putting it in living room. And may be more bathroom would be awesome. But, overall, this hostel is excellent!!

This hostel is definitely situated in a very strategic location, just about 5 - 8mins walk from zhongshan station. The place is small but yet comfy and has a homely feel. The staff is also very helpful. Only downside for me is that the rooms are not ensuite, but nonetheless, I will still recommend this hostel to my friends.

Clean, comfortable, simple. Easy access to MRT Zhongshan station. The manager, Tom, is a helpful host. A very pleasant base for exploring Taipei.

Tom is very kind and helpful,he is one of the best staff i saw in taipei's hostels! the place is clean cuz Tom was working very hard for cleanliness. the location is great which is very close to mrt. the hostel is small but tidy. i suggest Tom can work more on the atmosphere becuz it would be a advantage for a small hostel to have a friendly and close relationship between customers, like holding beer party in the common area,or introducing new customers to all existing customers

This is a great hostel. Very clean, Tom was the nicest guy ever. It is just a bit hard to find at first. There is no sign out front.

This is the best Guest House ever!! staaffs are so nice all the time. and that is so clean everywhere at the anytime! also location is great. close to main station and bus station. you can go anywhere from this G.H. Toilet,shower,room,bed all perfect!absolutely you will be satisfied!! enjoy this G.H.
