We stayed in a triple room ensuite for 3 nights. The staff are friendly especially the security guard at the ground floor lobby. We requested for a change in room as we were given a room which had a very unpleasant smell. Our request was attended to immediately. In half an hour another room was given to us which had just been cleaned with air freshener sprayed. Overall it is value for money but a bit far from Taipei main station though. Shilin night market is just across the road

we couldn't find this place - there is no #138! when we called the woman (Taipei MRT hostel is owned by yoyo stay), she was very unfriendly and told us she would not refund our money and that our booking did not go through. thankfully someone found a nearby place for us to stay. don't book this hostel! it's a scam!

It right in front of shilin night market. Near MRT station. Easy to visit Yongmingshan National Park and Danshui river bikeway. Room and bathroom is very clean. No bad comment about it.
