Great location- close to all transport and easy to find with map. Cute, nice common areas, nice beds, lots of space in private rooms. key codes to get into hostel, so no keys necessary- that is SO nice! Only complaints- no trash can in room, only one small trashcan near sinks- overflowing. Bathrooms and sinks pretty dirty with hair and smell of urine. The rooms are on a central hallway with frosted glass windows, no curtains, so the florescent hallway light illuminates room all night.

There is no hot water in some bathroom. It would be herriable in winter.

My parents and I stayed in this hostel from 21 Mar - 26 Mar 2013. I rated 'excellent' for security as there's really a lot of CCTVs everywhere. We reached the hostel around 8am on 21 March and was told by the staff that the room will only be available after 1pm. The electrical supply at the kitchen area often slipped as a result the microwave oven could not work sometimes. There were also a lot of mosquitoes in the room. I find that the lights at some areas within the building were also too dim.

The location is excellent for a hostel but the staff seemed a little busy with their own things instead of making an effort to connect with the people staying there.

The hotel is cozy, room and common living room is very homey, free drinking water, fantastic facilities, available first aid kit, and wifi is free plus very courteous and helpful staff. I was able to webcheck-in for my flight because of their free computer access and printing was free too. They also stored my luggage after I checkedout so I was still able to roam around the city during my last day. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back and billet in here next year. Cant stop raving! :)

Great hostel with awesome security, PIN number locks on every door. Location is great as its right near the main bus and train stations, and the staff are very helpful. I highly recommend this hostel for any backpacker!

A very nice hostel! Located in a quiet street near a market street, where I could buy vegetable, noodles, fruit to cook. Good kitchen facilities. A number of specially designed corners for reading and chatting. Comfortable! Highly recommended! Can go again next time.

there was a lady that kept stomping up and down the stairs throughout the night and that was extremely annoying, but other than that the hostel was pretty great!

Pros: - near Taipei main train station, the size of the room was ok Cons : - fusty smell coming from the bathroom which was full of bugs. There was a second door in the bathroom that couldn't be closed and which gave access to some kind of courtyard from which an awful smell was spreading into our room - The room wasn't sound proof and was near a shared bathroom. Moreover some people were shouting in the hostel at 4 a.m. and woke us up. - No lift : not convenient at all for travelers which big
