It'll be better if there is microwave in the hostel!

It's a bit difficult to locate the hostel based on the descriptions provided in Hostel World. Perhaps the owner can mention the hostel is above a laundry shop/Chinese (herbal) tea shop.

This is not your typical hostel. Its' located in a great place and super clean with the freedom as if you have your own apartment. I loved that aspect of it. In the heart of the NTU night market area, and super close to the subway and safe with the police station just next store. I would definitely come back. But its definitely not a place for socializing. Likely more suitable for the mature or older traveler or independent traveler.

Stayed in Double room for 3 days. The facilities are good & clean. The only problem is it is hard to find, the location is actually very close to the MTR GongGuan, though. So, you might be hard to find it first day as there is even no sign board on the building, but once you get familiar with the area, you\'ll be very satisfied. The area is very close to the Taiwan national uni. so shops are open until late and costs are cheap. Corner of the hostel, there is a police station & Family mart.

Convenient location at Gongguan station, quite near to the city centre. Very clean hostel and great room with hot water for showers. would be great if there was a reception counter and someone we could go to for tips. :)

Staff was patient in waiting for our arrival as we were late by 45minutes. Probably try to provide address in mandarin will be easier for us to find

The staff were so friendly, however there was no lobby/front desk at the hostel so it was difficult to speak to someone; especially since we had a few questions about bus routes etc. The hostel was difficult to find, have the address clearly written down beforehand, as well as the address in Chinese characters also. There was no English sign on the streetfront, but there is a sign in Chinese which was blue and red. Overall though a clean/safe place in a cool location, would definetly stay again.

Rich has done a fantastic job with the hostel. Individual rooms with everything you need along with natrual light and a good bathroom.

The water heater in my room seemed to be leaking and the tap should have been higher so that the kettle can be filled using the tap instead of using the shower. Overall the room was almost like a hotel and is a good alternative for those looking for budget accomodation and privacy not offered in dorms. It is also located directly above a night market and there is a convenience store round the corner.
