I strongly recommend the traveler to stay at Taipei Triple Tiger Backpacker. First of all, the lady is so kind and helpful. She'll tell you where to go, how to go, etc. She takes every traveler as family. Then, the room is very clean and comfortable. The last but the most important thing is the location, just inside of Ximen Chio.

The hostel is conveniently located near Ximen Station (near lots of shopping for younger crowds). The staff is incredibly helpful and nice. The ladies that helped us are so adorable

It was my first backpackers and i did not know what to expect. I was concerned with security and comfort, which was not the case when i was there as the place was both comfortable and relaxing. It was also secured and i knew my things were safe, in the hostel, while i was out. The staff are very helpful and nice, especially the lady boss. Good service. Homely. It is hard to put into words but when i go back to taipei, i will definitely pick Triple Tiger Backpackers as a preferred choice.

Hospitable and helpful staff. 6 bed dorm sleep quality was bad due to other guests making noise and early construction work at the other side of the street. Chilly in the night due to bad insulation even on the end of April. Aircon was malfunctioning, it was non adjustable. Pillow too thick and old and uncomfortable. There is free purified water from lobby during office hours. Still no decent curtains to block early rays of the sun.

Amazing staff, and perfect location once you eventually find it! Make sure to bring the location in Chinese so you can ask somebody at 7/11 if you get lost. Our private room had lovely, warm showers. Don't expect to meet other travels, though!

Very basic accommodation but definitely value for your money. Location is close to Xiamending Market and the MRT. Lots of restaurants to choose from.

The hostel might be a little hard to find if not for the detailed directions provided on the booking site. The facilities were basic and adequate. The lady boss was really friendly!

I absolutely loved the proprietress. She did her best job to make me feel comfortable and to accomodate me in any way possible. She was adorable, and cute, and nice, and sweet, and managed the place very nicely. It was a real joy to know her. The accommodations were perfectly adequate.

We're completely overwhelmed with gradtitude. The boss helped us with getting information on getting a temporary passport which we lost. Only because of her did we catch our flight back on time.

The backpackers was great, wonderful owners/staff, quiet clean and airy and in the heart of a great district in Taipei with lots of restos and shops. Also near the MRT!! I don't believe there was a common room, so if you were a solo traveler it may be a bit of a challenge to meet some people. We also received a weird address from online and when we arrived were lost for a bit until someone came out and saw us with our backpacks and showed us where to go...there were no signs I dont think.

Great location, staff were super friendly. Room was very tidy and had nice amenities, more like a hotel than a hostel.

The staffs, especially the hostel owner, is really friendly and helpful. The first day we arrived, she ordered some food for herself, but when she saw us, she decided to give her food to us, and made another order herself. That's very generous of her. She wanted us to try some Taiwanese snacks. Everything there is value for money, and the location is great, except the suburb itself has a lot of clubs, which might not be as safe for a single female traveler. But a group of people would be fine.

The room is too cramp for 4 person stay. Toilet bowl got problem flushing down waste. The Internet is too slow and the small router signal can't travel 2 walls. Connection is really poor. Very inconvienet to plan our holiday trip without good Internet connection. Tested speed ard 512kbs.

The staff, location, and rooms were phenomenal. A common area would be nice and the bathroom was very wet and musty. Would highly recommend for the great value in Taipei.
