I enjoyed staying at this hostel a lot. The rooms are nice and the price is good, especially if you are looking for a private room. The location of the hostel was its biggest advantage for me, as it is right in the midst of Ximending. I would certainly recommend it.

+ Great location in XiMenDing, 5 mins to Metro. + Comfortable beds. - Rooms very noisy due to thin walls. - Not really a hostel, rather rented rooms in a former apartment building. Very simple standard

This hostel was very comfortable (especially the beds!), and in a fabulous location in the Ximen district and near the MRT in the center of Taipei. Staff was friendly, no problems at all:)

This hostel is in a great location in Taipei city, it is perfect for convenience to the MRT and getting around the city in general. The Ximen area has lots of great food and shopping, right near the hostel. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable-- I would definitely recommend this hostel to travelers in Taipei!! Friendly staff, no problem at all:)

I don't know why it got such a name "Triple Tiger" since I didn't see any of things linked. But the hostel is quite amazing. It located just 5-minute walking distance of the local youth downtown center "Ximen" area. The living room is not big but guest room is quite clean and tidy with colorful bed sheet and shower attached. Also, free drink, tea bag and public computer available in the aisle. And the owner was very courteous and moternal, the staff Lucy was quite deligent as well. I love it!

Triple Tigers is in as good a location as you'd ever want in Taipei, right in the heart of Ximen. The main drawbacks to this hostel are it's lack of a common area. This feels more like a hotel than a backpackers hostel - which isn't necessarily a bad thing, depending on what you're looking for. Our room was clean enough although there were mosquitoes buzzing around in January.. which probably indicates a dampness issue. The staff were very friendly when we met them.

Ximen is a great location. It's convenient to Taipei Main Station, which is where you want to be if you're planning to go on day trips outside of the city. The staff here was extremely friendly. When we got there they had accidentally overbooked their private double bed ensuite, but fortunately they had another facility just down the road. My boyfriend and I were put up in a gorgeous studio with a great view. It was very clean and spacious. Amazing service!

The dorm I stayed in had such a tiny bathroom, and the mattress was awkwardly soft . Otherwise, the location was good and the staff were very helpful.

Definitely a nice place to stay. The room was a little bit damp, but overall it was clean and pleasant. The owners were trying to help us in any way possible. The location is quite nice, only one subway stop from the main railway station and just around the corner of Ximen pedestrian area.

All services were either good our excellent except for cleanliness which could have.been better, especially on breeding of mosquitos. Suffered quite some huge swelling due to bites for the 2 nights I was staying

nice staff and good location. but the sound insulation is really needed to be improved. it was very annoying to hear all sounds on floors, no matter other guests were in the rooms or at corridor. we could not sleep at all in the evening during the stay.

The location is in the heart of Ximending. Judy is also kind and helpful. But the room is old and has no public place to meet friends.

Loved the Triple Tiger! We had a great stay and it was very close to the main MRT line. The ladies at the front desk were great too :)
